Bottle. Orange malt and dry grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large head. Sweet orange malt and mildly bitter herbal lemon peel flavor. Not bad.

The beer pours a nice medium-light amber with a big, puffy white head. It’s quite cloudy. Very good head retention. Mix of bubble sizes, which I realize is the sort of info everyone wanted to know about this beer. The aroma is a mix of hops with some gentle caramel malt and a dose of yeastiness. The hops smell of apricots, tangerines, juniper, grapefruit. Pretty fruity. The taste is relatively dry. The yeast presence is pretty strong and helps to bring out the bitterness of the beer, which is still quite mild, relative to the style. Bready malt, in the background but still present enough. Mouthfeel is light with gentle effervescence. Finish is long and lightly bitter with grapefruit pith. The beer is fun but too mild. The hops aren’t terribly juicy, and the yeast is too neutral to come in and save the day. Still, it’s fun to try a French take on the style. To be fair, there definitely could be an issue of freshness, but I am drinking this beer fairly soon after my local store received it.

Couleur paille, voilée, petit collet, belle dentelle. Nez très floral avec des touches citronnés. Corps moyen, bonne amertume sur final bien sec.

Pours a bubbly, slightly hazy amber with a thick, fluffy, and rather persistent white head. Aroma is typical of a good IPA, hoppy with malty and citrus underpinnings. Hops dominate the flavor, a little more woody than resiny; bitterness is minimal, while malt and sour citrus notes make their appearance. Flavor is smooth and somewhat firm. An average IPA, but it shows that the French know how to make more than wine and love.

Sample at the "Far Out! Space-themed beer tasting" on 10/01/2013. The beer pours a clear dark golden color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, malt and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, yeast and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Golden body, light hazy. Floral hops yet mild. Floral, classic, bitter citric. Straightforward malts, moderate bitterness. Pretty nice, not very rich. Okay brew. (33cl bottle from La Cave à Bulles)

Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate west coast citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium duration. Good brew.

750ml bottle, shared with local RBers. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin white head. Few dots of lace. Caramel malt prominent in the nose. Smooth, sort of soft, moderate strength carbonation. More dry in the finish. Moderate bitter taste, minimal sweet. But a big biscuity malt, light caramel, and spicy hop aroma, lightly soapy. OK IPA, not greatest... Not as easy drinking as I’d like from an IPA this light.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks good; a fairly transparent orange with off-white lacing. Smells of bitter malt with a forward pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Solid but not spectacular.
