sayravai (3045), Helsinki, Finland Apr 11, 2008 (Draught@HBF2008) Very dark reddish brown with a medium head. Berry leaves and smooth maltiness in the aroma. Boysenberries and blackcurrant leaves in the flavor with crisp hoppiness - but not harsh like Severin. Medium body with medium carbonation. Not quite as nice as Smörre IPA, but way better than Severin and Rotvalli.
mjs (499), Helsinki, Finland May 11, 2008 (Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-04-11) Brown and cloudy. Malts and hops in nose. A bit fizzy palate. Lots of malts which give sweetness. Some bitterness. Miksu (1244), Jyväskylä, Finland Apr 26, 2008 Draught at Helsinki Beer Festival. Dark reddish brown color with creamy head. Sweetish aroma with fruity and flowery hops. Bittersweet flavor with fruity-flowery hops, honey, caramel, pepper and hint of chocolate. Fairly close to Smörre IPA, which is slightly better. Jukkabro (2350), Tampere, Finland Apr 21, 2008 Deep dark amber colored, little yellow head. Sweet flowery, nicely licoricy and hopped aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is even more hopped with bitter flowers, slight licorice also here with caramel. Aftertaste has lasting hoppy bitterness. Should be had side by side with Smörre to make better comparison. oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Apr 15, 2008 Draught. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is malts, hops, some rye and mild grassyness. Also some mild fruityness lurking. Flavour is grassy and fruity hops with some mild caramel, wood and rye bread. mirjukka (355), LOHJA, Finland Apr 15, 2008 keg at HBF Helsinki
