Mitch_Wayne (77), Kokkola, Finland Aug 7, 2008 Second imperial stout that I ever had and still a very good one. Beautifully pitch black, aroma of hops and chocolate, the flavor is chocolate and liquorice and it finishes to a hoppy salty feeling. Made me an imperial stout lover for life. mirjukka (316), LOHJA, Finland Jul 28, 2008 draught sample at SOPP Helsinki
Color:black, nice head
Taste: I have tasted this many times before. I like combination of dark roasted malts very strong bitterness sticky but dryish. First time my beer festival history beer turned quickly to be too warm under hot sunburst. Usually I have to warm up my beers for drinkable state ages. mjs (481), Helsinki, Finland Apr 21, 2008 (From old notes, draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-04) Black. Lots of hops with pine aroma in nose. Likewise, the taste has got pine aroma in addition to roasted malts. Exceptionally good version of Siperia. janir (157), Oulu, Finland Apr 20, 2008 Thich, dark beige, creamy head with nice lacing. Color is almost black. Aromas are roasted malts, flowerish hops and a bit chokolate. Roasty creamy malty flavor is dry and has also chokolate in it. Very nice hoppyness in the end. Full-bodied, smooth and creamy palate. austone (305), Turku; Pori, Finland Apr 17, 2008 (Draught at HBF08)
Black with tanned thick head. Nose is hops, burned malt and some chocolate. Flavor is grapefruity hops and chocolatey malts, mildly burned bitter finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth and low carbonation. Smooth and fruity, didn’t seem as bitter and hopped as before?
