Very dark red to black color, brown head. Fruity, citrus, hoppy bitter scent. Citrus hoppy bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Black color, light brown head. Malty, sweet, herbal, hoppy, bitter taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Sweet malty scent. Nice!

Draught at EBF 2008. Black with medium beige head. Chocolate aroma with citric and floral hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Nicely balanced.

On tap @ European Beerfistival. Pours an opaque black with a beige foamy head and lacings. Strong hops smell. Sweet with aromas of hops and some dark chocolate. Quite hoppy. Soft carbonation. Pinch of salt. Hars hoppy and dry finish.

Black with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hops, roasted malt and coffee notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, chocolate and coffee accents. Ends sweet.

Second imperial stout that I ever had and still a very good one. Beautifully pitch black, aroma of hops and chocolate, the flavor is chocolate and liquorice and it finishes to a hoppy salty feeling. Made me an imperial stout lover for life.

Taste: I have tasted this many times before. I like combination of dark roasted malts very strong bitterness sticky but dryish. First time my beer festival history beer turned quickly to be too warm under hot sunburst. Usually I have to warm up my beers for drinkable state ages.

(From old notes, draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-04) Black. Lots of hops with pine aroma in nose. Likewise, the taste has got pine aroma in addition to roasted malts. Exceptionally good version of Siperia.

Thich, dark beige, creamy head with nice lacing. Color is almost black. Aromas are roasted malts, flowerish hops and a bit chokolate. Roasty creamy malty flavor is dry and has also chokolate in it. Very nice hoppyness in the end. Full-bodied, smooth and creamy palate.

Black with tanned thick head. Nose is hops, burned malt and some chocolate. Flavor is grapefruity hops and chocolatey malts, mildly burned bitter finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth and low carbonation. Smooth and fruity, didn’t seem as bitter and hopped as before?
