mto (17), helsinki, Finland Sep 28, 2008 (draught@pikkulintu) black with a very little foam on top. tastes like woody and hops. one of the best imperial stout in world.. Mave (1), HELSINKI, Finland does not count Feb 22, 2008 Dark, Thick, Tasty, Gummy, Love it. Tastes like a Finnish forrest. The name says it all, a must to have. omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 7, 2006 [Draught at GBBF] Pitch black, no head. Salty licorice and tar simmers on a soft but firm compact maltiness. Packed with flavour, but not assaulting. Vicely bitter, salty finish. The softness and blance makes it one of the best imperial stouts anywhere. mrdasilva (116), Helsinki, Finland Jan 16, 2006 Updated: Aug 17, 2008Gorgeous thick creamy beige head, cruel - almost pitch black color. Pleasant, sweet aroma with a touch of herbs, chocolate and a bit of tobacco. Powerful, quite sweet flavor brings a load of hops and fruits. Nice low carbonated palate. Feisty and originaI flavor. I would’ve liked to see more maltiness but otherwise a good effort overall. Re-rate Aug 17th: Put up the points a notch, due to an excellent sample at the brewery. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 7, 2006 Draught at GBBF 2006. Thanks to maeib for getting the 2 Finnish beers. Black and thick with a dark tan head. Beautiful rich dark choc aroma. Bit of herb. Quite sour in mouth. Rich, heavy, thick. Bit of oily richness. Quite stunning. Rich thick choc and espresso coffee like in mouth. Full on Impy stout. I think everyone was too polite to finish it.
