hopdog (4778), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 22, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a deper and hazy orange / amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, some citrus, and buttery. Tastes of the same. CaptainCougar (4687), Rockville, Maryland, USA Apr 6, 2006 Clear bright copper color with a thin, lightly-lacing off-white head. Toasty buttery caramel aroma has a touch of earthy bittering hops and mild cinnamon spice. Starts with some sweet toasty caramel and nutty flavor with a touch of diacetyl butterscotch. Otherwise a decent amber. acrdz (4486), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jan 18, 2006 Updated: Jan 19, 2006Has a pretty bad aroma - some sour, wet grains and dough, some medicinal, sharp sour malt scents as well. I really can’t imagine any brewer wanting to drink this stuff if they made it themselves. Has a definitive taste of peanuts and bread crust, somewhat creamy peanut butter as well. Bad all around. Unimaginably bad in more ways than just the taste... why even make this stuff? DocLock (4175), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 20, 2007 Bottle from Pat’s. Copper pour with aroma of roasty caramel malt, slight brown sugary honey. Rather light palate heft, not terribly complex, but fairly smooth, with primarily caramel malt flavors and some slight honey and fruitiness as it warms.
