jredmond (633), New Jersey, USA Mar 6, 2008 12 oz bottle. Ill tell you what, this is the best amber ale Ive ever tasted. Have to tip my hat to Lion Brewery on this one. Smooth, amber ale washes down my throat like a miniature waterfall in an endless pit of euphoria. eboats (835), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Mar 5, 2006 Thanks to Lou18 for this one. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet malts, light nuts, and light carmel. Has a light sweet malt body with carmel and nut notes. The flavors are present, but not all that strong. There is something about the sweet mix of flavors and the smoothness that I enjoy. CaptainCougar (4687), Rockville, Maryland, USA Apr 6, 2006 Clear bright copper color with a thin, lightly-lacing off-white head. Toasty buttery caramel aroma has a touch of earthy bittering hops and mild cinnamon spice. Starts with some sweet toasty caramel and nutty flavor with a touch of diacetyl butterscotch. Otherwise a decent amber. stoutlover72 (1342), NorCal, California, USA Apr 7, 2006 Another buy at Grocery Outlet. This is my 2nd Pocono product I tasted and like the first, it’s average to slightly above. An aroma that was slightly sweet, but to be honest there just wasn’t much there (good or bad). Appearance was a nice dark amber, clear and an off-white full head. Mouthfeel was a bit weak with a tad wateryness to it, but not bad. Flavor was malty sweet and a tad toasty. Not bad at all for the price, so if you see it you could do a lot worse for a somewhat inexpensive beer. KAggie97 (2022), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Apr 8, 2006 Bottle from lou18 Thanks!

Pours a cloudy amber with a nice head and semi-clinging lace. Aroma is sour bubblegum and banana. Flavor is a weird banana/clove/malt mixture. A different amber, for sure. Palate is a little on the thick side, but not by much. Overall, not bad.
