1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Stuck into the variety case that I had to buy at Uncle Johnís cond - Always have to buy by the case up there, so I look for the variety packs. The most interesting thing is the lemony zest. Palate is zingy, which is ok for a light summer brew to drink by the lake. Very light.

Pocono Light is part of the variety case available in PA. For seventeen bucks its not a bad deal. I hate when a light beer is put in a mixed case, but my girl volunteered to drink the Lightís. Doughy aroma, and the taste of bubble gum stuck on a piece of wet cardboard. Not my cup of tea, but my girl enjoyed the Pocono Light. She also drank a three year old Zima after having one so that should tell you where her palate was that night.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
OK, I did it - I tried a light beer. It was part of a sample case and i figured, for the sake of science, what the heck. Welp, it didnít kill me, and it was OK, at first. Faint malt / herbal aroma. Unfortunately, malt in flavor is overtaken by a cornshuck taste and drinkability faded as it warmed.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
(12 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with hopdog, thanks Steve!) Another pale lager, another sweet, corn-flavored beer. Minimal hops or bitterness here, so it goes down like water. And like many other pale lagers Iíve tried, the finish is short lived and thin. It has that sweet, grain, corn, honey nose that you smell so often in this style of beer. Pale yellow color is about as pale as you can get. Small, white head fades away to a very tiny rim, leaving a few spots of lace on the glass. Minimal flavor, minimal alcohol, so whatís the point? Whatever....

Light version of an average beer. I figured "i might as well" just because Iím trying to have one of every single of the 600 or so beers at Circle Liquors

I know light beers arenít supposed to be full bodied and usually donít have rich taste, but this stuff has no body and no taste. I canít even really describe it, so I will just reccommend you go drink something else. This is too bad, because Pocono has some other decent varieties.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Clear yellow gold. FIzzy, foamy white head. Sickeningly sweet nose, which follows through on the palate which is all adjunct and gross stuff. Light body, light in gross flavor, and just plain old boring.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Terrible malt beverage, tastes like runoff from a 40 of Colt45. It had more flavor than most light beers for sure, but all bad.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours pale gold. Aromas of hops, yeast, corn. Not much taste. Finishes fairly crisp, smooth, and watery, with some hops at the end.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light golden color, small white head that faded to nothingness quickly. The aroma was malty, fruity and sweet with maybe a bit of lemon coming through. The taste was Very light.Light malt and lightly sweet with a mild citrus and maybe a hint of corn, very thin and watered down.It would make a decent hot day brew but little else.
