Draft sample @ Berlin Braufest 2015.

0.33L bottle, batch 056. Aroma is quite weak. Cereal, caramel aroma. Hazy dark brown color with massive beige foam. Stays. Taste is nearly amazing if this sweet malt liquer taste disappears. I like this low citrus fruit with massive cereal mix flavour. Roast and overcooked sugar, prune taste. Caramel mouthfeel with light bitterness. Nice one....but....sweet

Dark amber-brown, builds up a nice beige head and leaves lacing afterwards. Sugary sweetness from the caramel malts, rye and bread flavors are not so overwhelming. As an Estonian I expect more bready notes when having a rye beer. Grassy - berrylike hops flavors, maybe not the best choice for this style. In conclusion a decent rye ale, but not my first choice.

Bottle. Caramel, earth and coffee aroma, with the coffee being absent in the flavour. Light sweetness balanced by slightly rough herbal and earthy notes. Some citrusy hops, bordering on soapy. Unusual but very tasty.
