33cl bottle. First batch 006. Aged for some months. BBE is 26.11.2014 Strong rye, honey, nutmeg, roasted malts. Pours dark amber, with 1cm white head. Spicy, less sweet when compared to previous version, sharp and crispy. Bites your tongue. Full bodied for its type. Smooth and with lovely, gentle carbonation. Note to self: Served in Maredsous trappist glass - perfect match. This version has more body, more spice and rather sharp. Previous was more bready and smooth.

(Bottled, BBE 30.12.2014) Muddy amber-brown with a smallish, firm head. Aroma is rye-malty with woody citrus notes. Rye-malty, slightly sour and toffeeish flavor with citrusy hops and pine-woody bitterness. Medium body, reasonably refreshing, soft CO2. Quite ok rye ale with citrusy hops making this less heavy and more refreshing than most of its kind. 3335
