Look; tan head and dark brown near clear body. Aroma; mild brown malts, juicy fresh substance, dusty hops and chocolate notes. Taste; roasted malts, creamy chocolate, leafy hops, notes of plums and other dark fruits - leading to a roasted malty lingering finish with hops and coffee notes. Good body, normal to soft carbonation. Overall clean and good. [33cl brown bottle 5.9%abv B@Selver EE, T@Ferie2015]

0,33 pullo Tallinnasta. Väri on kirkkaan mahonginruskea ja vaahto katoaa melko nopeasti. Rukiinen, sekä etäisesti hedelmäinen ja savuinen maku.

(Põhjala Rukkirääk (2014-)) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 5.9% Deep amber colour on the body, clear, with two fingers of thick, tan head sitting on top. Great retention. Aroma of caramel, someyeast, spices, light coffee and chocolate notes, pretty good aroma. Taste has a touch of sourness on it, then some caramel, toffee, chocolate, light coffee. Medium body, good carbonation and very dry on the palate. Very nice, pleasant surprise.

Pours dark but clearish brown with small head. Nose of tropical fruit and dark malts. Dark malts, rye, chocolate and a hint of smoke. Bitter and slightly oily. Aroma varies quite a bit with temperature, mine was served too cold and I almost gave it a tank rating.

330 ml bottle. #056. BB 18/08/15. From Estonia. Aitäh Mpeh!
Hazy brown color with red hue and a big foamy light tan head. Sweetness, malt, mild rye, some hops and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavour is hops, moderate bitterness, brown sugar, sweet maltiness with some burnt and bready notes. Compared to Õllenaut’s Eesti Rukki Eil this is easier, drier and more hoppy.
