2016-09-13. Hazy dark orange body with a modest white head. 3+ Aroma of resiny leafy green hops. Flavour is a bit of a mess, resiny piney hop character, oily, muted muddled citrus. Caramel notes and possible oxidation notes but the BB is in 2017 so that shouldn’t really be the case. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Disappointing, but glad to try it. 6/3/6/3/12 Bottle courtesy of Timo from Finland.

Bottle from Porvoon Paahtimo, Porvoo. Dark amber, hazy with very little head. Massive spruce aroma, pine needles and tropical fruit. Taste is as good as the aroma promises. Maybe a bit sweet for an IPA but a gentle balanced bitterness rests on the tongue afterward. High resinous note in the long finish. Leaves me wanting more. An excellent IPA.

Pine and citrus with hint of flowers, bit of caramel. It begins with hit of malty sweetness which transits into big hoppy explosion full of pine, resin, grapefruits, orange and all that citrusy fruits, by the end it firms up to solid dose of bitterness with grapefruity base and piney undertones to end up with resiny aftertaste reminding forest. Medium carbonation, semi-full body. Very nice, enjoyable beer.
