Bottle from Bier Paleis in Brugge. Pours hazy dark gold with a creamy/fizzy white head. Aroma is sort of Belgian yeast/spice of the type found in a tripel. Med body, maybe less. Flavor is rather mild - yeast/spice, light banana ester, hop that’s likely noble, paleish malt. Works for me.

Botella de 330ml. Copa Tulipa. Notas de sep´11. Coolor oro anaranjado y apariencia velada. Espuma marfil y corona fugaz. Paladar picante. Frutas maduras en el intermedio. Cuerpo medio y carbonatación moderada. Final con leve sabor tartárico y seco amargor. 330ml bottle. Tulip glass. From my notes (sep´11). Orangish gold, hazy appearance. Off-white froth, brief crown. Sweet & spiced aroma, floral fragancy & lemon notes to the nose. Sweet at first sip -hints of candies & crystal malts- followed by acidic citric/woody touch. Spicy palate. Ripe fruits in the middle. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Slightly tartar & dry bitter finish.
