UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 Bonne surprise. Une blonde belge, trouble. Très parfumée, c?est floral, malté. Amertume légère. Rafraîchissant et sympathique.

Strong blonde ale with thick, firm, moussy, cream white head and peach blonde colour, hazy. Very fruity aroma, hints of pineapple, banana, orange, lemon, grassy hops, white pepper, honey, coriander. Fresh, vivid fruitiness in the mouth too, quite strong carbo at first, sweetish with citrus touch, caramel malt base, grassy hops in the finish with warming alcohol. Ordinary but well-made, in fact remarkably better than what I am used to from Huyghe.

On tap, 25cL. @El Mexicano, Bressuire, France. A clear golden beer with a medium white head. Medium persistence. Aroma of herbs, citrus fruit, alcohol. Medium refreshing bitter, light sweet. Medium body and texture. Average carbonation, light bitter finish. Not dry. Overall, a good average belgian ale "abbey-style".

Shared a 33cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours an almost clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hay, malt and a bit yeast. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet, with some strange notes. Dry finish. Overall, nice...

Misty golden oker body, small head. Light sweet malts, cardamon, simple malts. Drinkable, not too sweet but certainly added sugar here. Sticky ending after a boring body. Not much to this one. More alcohol than necessary. Not recommended. (33cl bottle from Cave Gambrinus SPdC)
