Nice cold, but I cant get over the hallertauer hops....makes me think this is a busch amber, if there is such a thing. Pretty light body too. Thanks Erin.

From the pour I got a clear reddish amber body with a small creamy off white head. This small head fades to a very thin layer of foam that disappears about half way down the glass. On the way it makes some slick lacing. The aroma light overall and has a thin maltiness with light hops and a slight metallic presence. The flavor matches the aroma with a light/thin body. A simple (but not off putting in any) mild maltiness gives way to a thin herbal hop fading finish. Its light on the palate add side down easily.

A mid amber coloured beer with a weak white head. A light aroma, piney hops and roasted malt. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a tart, piney and fruity hop flavour. Then a smooth slightly roasted, caramel malt flavour comes through that leaves a well-balanced finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Lebowskis. Appearance - amber brown and pours a decent head. Nose - toffee and a touch screen orange zest. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied, with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Slightly sweet maybe. Overall - solid though not as fresh as I’d expect from US craft.

clear dark orange, barely amber colour doesn’t even resemble lager to be fair the froth soon disappears and settles leaving you to enjoy the taste without to much hindrance from the fiz . for the price i paid of 79p its a excellent drink which i would recommend .

Pours a clear dark orange, barely amber body. The fluffy off-white head settles down quickly, leaving some lacing on the glass. Nose is malty with some spicy notes on the side. Taste is quite malty at first but is then followed by a spicy bitterness and a dry finish with some metallic notes to it. Carbonation is medium and the mouthfeel is a bit watery. A decent beer with a fairly malty character which could be a little darker in color and smoother on the tongue.

Pours a clear deep amber color with off-white head. Caramel malt, some toffee, and a bit of roast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some nice maltiness. A very good example of the style.

Bottle from B&M Stockton. Amber with a white head. Not a bad bit of flavour to this. Some sweetness, fruity malts and caramel. Not bad.

Currently 79p a bottle at B&M bargains, which is where I bought four bottles. This rating is based on 2x355ml bottles poured into a "Bubba Gump" lager glass Definitely amber coloured, with a dense off-white head. Aroma is caramel and mildly acidic red fruit. Malt to the fore, with flavours of a good quality fruit and nut fudge, but not oversweet. The American hops provide a lovely floral astringency to balance the maltiness. Juicy mouth feel, long bittersweet finish. What a surprisingly nice beer.
