Actually this is pretty decent. Good creamy head which lingered. Nice Lacing. Light yellow pour and good carbonation. Very comparible to Blue Moon. This isn't my favorite style, but when your in the mood for a clovy, slightly fruity flavor this is worth having. This is also the only beer my wife likes. I'll definitely drink this again.

Hazy, not much head. Smells of apple and lemons, maybe even pineapple. Very nice wheat beer.

Hazy yellow colour. Some coriander and marshmallow aroma, alongside grainy notes, oatcakes and honey. Palate is light, slightly honeyish, sweet, with hints of coriander and a very light yeast presence.

moderately hazy, light golden, no head. also pick up the aroma of nitrous gas in this one as well. very similar to the sterkens i just had...not really the lemon in the flavor and a more pronounced clove taste...again..it's OK

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2004 Had all the good qualities of a belgian witbier, but just isn't my favorite in the style. Still, it's a great showing. Poured a wonderful hazy pale yellow (hazy is very important to me in a wheat), thine white head. smells likecitrus fruit, a bit acidic. Flavor is much like banana bread, which is typical of the style. Palate is a bit on the thin side. Good stuff.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2003 Bottled. It's a pretty tasty Wisconsin version of a Belgian biere. Appearance is yellow-white. Good wheaty head, and a pleasant coriander spicy bite, with clove just beneath. If they had a rating for “value,” this one would get a “10,” since I found it for $6 a sixer in Wisconsin.

Nice straw color slightly cloudy, small head that faded fast,Nice wheat aroma with a mild spiciness to it as well as a mild citrus tone. The taste is quite good wheaty with a spicy hint to it as well as a nice mellow sweetness as well. There is also a nice after taste that is pretty decent wheat and spice with a nice fruit tone that fadeds to a slightly sweet taste at the very end.Pretty decent brew IMO and well worth trying again.the price id definately right for this brew.

What can I say concerning the color of this brew that hasn't already been said? Has a really fresh aroma and I can smell the coriander and orange. Fluffy head that dissipated rapidly, but with some lacing all the way down. Flavor is delicately spicy and slightly sour, with a light dryish finish, and I want another one.

Murky pear juice. Creamy layer of retentive white bubbles. Zesty orange, slightly musty aroma with underlying coriander, dough, melon, white grape, bubblegum, phenolic yeast traits, and a whisper of piney hop. Round, softly prickly carbonation. Filmy, yeasty palate. Starts with light pepper flares and faint coconut. Lightly metallic, earthy, lemon flavors abound underneath the inital coconut flares and faint coconut and cane sugar. Doughy, phenolic hop belches. The pepper, yeast, and citric notes are wonderfully balanced in the aroma. The finish is also nice, with subtle acidity and light pale maltiness. More malt emphasis in the middle would have added proper depth. The phenolic yeast traits complement the lightly phenolic Saaz with perfection.
