Murky pear juice. Creamy layer of retentive white bubbles. Zesty orange, slightly musty aroma with underlying coriander, dough, melon, white grape, bubblegum, phenolic yeast traits, and a whisper of piney hop. Round, softly prickly carbonation. Filmy, yeasty palate. Starts with light pepper flares and faint coconut. Lightly metallic, earthy, lemon flavors abound underneath the inital coconut flares and faint coconut and cane sugar. Doughy, phenolic hop belches. The pepper, yeast, and citric notes are wonderfully balanced in the aroma. The finish is also nice, with subtle acidity and light pale maltiness. More malt emphasis in the middle would have added proper depth. The phenolic yeast traits complement the lightly phenolic Saaz with perfection.

Pours a hazy light pale yellow color, grain and citrus aromas, small white foamy head that clings to the sides of the glass. Dry wheat and mild orange flavors, light body with a watery mouthfeel, finishes clean and dry, not all that bad and somewhat refreshing.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2004 Very pale, almost white. Aroma of citrus fruit and cloves. Standard aroma and flavor of other Belgian whites, but both of these qualities are understated in this beer. Thin on the palate. Not as good as Blue Moon, and certainly not as good as Hoegaarden or Wittekerke, but it was also very inexpensive. Not a bad beer.

Really really pale. Like piss when one is very hydrated, or a watered down unfiltered wheat. The previous sentence is the most creative I can come up with for this overpriced brew. Didn't taste like much...where were the promising spices of orange and coriander? ARGGH!

Faint but pleasant aroma, some sweetness, apparent yeast, citrus, wheat malt and coriander. Hazy but translucent pale yellow color, fairly creamy head and not overly effervescent. Flavor presents characteristics indicated by the aroma, soft wheat flavor, lemony citrus, clove and spice, yeast and slight acidity towards the finish. Lightly tart, quenching, almost juicy mouthfeel, light in body. A surprisingly tasty offering from this brewer.

Pale lightly cloudy yellow - almost chardonnay like. Perhaps too yellow in hue. Thin white head. Wonderful zesty clove and phenol aroma. Light and bubbly with nice phenolic minty flavor and easy finish. Perhaps a tad on the too sweet side, with the roundly sweet malt sitting in the mouth too heavily, lacking the lightness of sufficient wheat.

Sunshine yellow color; Head was full then faint; Nose was very inviting with great citrus zest. very nice dry character. Only barely oily. Quite good.

Creamy head, good lace. Anemic color (typical of a wit), spicy aroma. A lot of spice flavors, a little astringent, like overspiced cider. Quite bitter. Lacks the touch of sweetness that makes other wits better, but this is very good and an excellent buy.

I first tried this brew at the Oshkosh Brews ’N Blues Festival this past summer and loved it for its refreshing, smooth taste, something I had yet to experience from the Belgian White style. It was served with a slice of orange which complemented it well. This time, in order to rate it purely on its own merits, I ditched the orange. Small, white head with fair lacing. Attractive, cloudy, light yellow color reminiscent of pineapple juice. Wheat flavor with pleasant finish. One of Point’s best.

I rich man’s Grainbelt she smells like bacon. Her juice is very light and cloudy in color with a mild lasting cream ring of head. solid.
