12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/16/2015. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus peel spice, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Slight herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, coriander, wheat, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness of citrus peel spice, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good beer, but it tastes completely like a pale wheat ale. There is very minimal yeast character. All around good balance and robustness of citrus peel spice, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering as a pale wheat ale.

Wheat is mercifully low in the mix. Smells of fresh lemon and that hazy wheat musk. Lightly spiced, almost flat. Everything about this is mild and pretty boring. It is quite refreshing and nothing bad about it. I hate this style so the blandness is welcome.

Poured into a perfect pint. 3.0 A: Murky golden yellow color. Just over one finger of frothy white head that falls quickly and leaves no lacing. 3.5 S: Pleasantly spicy nose. Lots of coriander with orange peel and citrusy orange, pepper, and perhaps a touch of clove. Clean, refreshing, and pleasant. 3.25 T: Taste is more intense than the nose suggests. There’s a sharp citrusy tanginess that comes on as a big of a surprise. Corriander, orange, and orange peel with pepper and clove. Neutral malt sweetness. It’s not bad, it just needs a bit of refinement . 3.25 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Could use a bit more creaminess, but it’s good enough. 3.5 D: I might have been a bit harsh on the taste as this is a tasty beer, it just isn’t as cohesive as many others I’ve had. Pours hazy pale gold with a finger of white head. Sweet citrus and coriander. Not bad but lacks the complexity of the best witbiers.

Thanks Nicole. This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a soft hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer. The smell had some citrus sweetly combined with a light spicy coriander. The taste was mainly the same thing with a bit of an orange peel like aftertaste. There was a long dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but still good for its style. Overall, good witbier I would have again.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Quite simple stuff, sugary wheat, some yeast, white sugar. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Sugary, doughy wheat finish, white bread. Mediocre.
