3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from 12oz bottle, approached with caution being I usually hate anything brewed by these guys, pours a clear copper orange with a thick white head and lots of lacing in the glass, actually looks pretty nice, aroma is earthy with a little bit of zest and citrus mixed in, the flavor has a sweet caramel and malt front end with some of the hops and bitterness showing in the finish, not a ton of citrus showing through but still nice, better than I was expecting for sure.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Certainement.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
23 oz. bottle pours a clear copper color with big creamy off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is full of citrus and floral hops, with a fair amount of dankness. Taste is bitter with a sweet caramel middle for balance. Body is medium with a sticky mouthfeel and average carbonation. This is one of the best brews I’ve tried from Point, and a very solid, affordable IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Uncle Mike’s. Copper with a thin white head that slowly fades away. Aroma is floral and citrusy with mango, fruits and moderately sweet malt. Taste is surprisingly dank with pale malts, citrus and mild floralness. A hint of off-flavors creep into a better than expected brew with a fairly aggressive finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly cloudy bright orange amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of passion fruit, pineapple, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, caramel, toast, and floral/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of hop notes with balanced malt sweetness; and decent strength. Taste of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, caramel, toast, bread, and floral earthiness. Moderate amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, passion fruit, mango, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, caramel, toast, and bread on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a moderate malt balance; and minimal cloying bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good IPA. Nice complexity and balance of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I like this beer. I think it is there best out of there regular lineup and then the cascade pale. Pours a clear, filtered, copper color. Descent off white head with descent lacing. Aroma is caramel, pine, and mango. Flavor is the same but stronger and definetly west coast style. This beer is really nice. Good job point.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper pour with a 1 finger creamy tan head. Aroma is full of fruity, pine, and tea like herbal hops, a decent amount of caramel, toast and a little toffee. Flavor is caramel and toast up front, some husky grain, mineral notes and a light, planty woodiness, thistle-like floral hops, tea like herbal hops, pine, old dry citrus and a little cat box hoppiness. Medium body with a medium sharp and blanketing carbonation and a dry, mineral water feel after an initially somewhat syrupy entry. Not bad overall, the hop blend is different, but I like it.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Orange amber with a decent foamy white head. Citrus and herbal hops aroma with a hint of doughy, sweet malt. Flavor is heavy up front with pine and medicinal hops and a short hit of caramel near the end that mixes with the hops for the finish. Medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Might be a little hop forward for my tastes but it is good. I remember Point start as a cheap, run of the mill, macro but they have really put out some impressive offerings of late.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Poured clear, broght golden with a sticky, off-white head. The aroma picked up citrus zest and toasted grassy notes over sweet caramel.. some honey supported.. malty, but pleasant. The flavor found sweet caramel and biscuity notes at the core with citrus, grassy, and herbal hoppage around.. some good character, but it was a bit muddled.. finished grainy with quite a lot of residual sugars. Light-medium bodied and grainy as mentioned on the palate.. moderate-plus carbonation.. decent feel and flow. Very drinkable and approachable overall.
