3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper pour with a 1 finger creamy tan head. Aroma is full of fruity, pine, and tea like herbal hops, a decent amount of caramel, toast and a little toffee. Flavor is caramel and toast up front, some husky grain, mineral notes and a light, planty woodiness, thistle-like floral hops, tea like herbal hops, pine, old dry citrus and a little cat box hoppiness. Medium body with a medium sharp and blanketing carbonation and a dry, mineral water feel after an initially somewhat syrupy entry. Not bad overall, the hop blend is different, but I like it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Good looking pour, a clear amber/copper body with a creamy and sustained ecru head. The aroma is sharply resinous with a touch of unripe peaches and peach pits. A sweet toffee scent oozes out from beneath the hops. Thereís more of a sweet malt presence in the flavor, but itís soon bowled over by the hop tastes and a sturdy zesty/stony/piney bitterness. The finish is a bit sweet yet continues with the hop bitterness for quite some time. Pretty decent.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours up to a nice permanent buff head that leaves delicate lace. Color is a bright copper. Aroma is a nice blend of floral and citrus hops with a nice malt backdrop. Flavor is surprisingly sessionable and balanced with pale and light crystal malts balanced with citrus and floral flavor hops and a balancing bitterness. Mouthfeel is light-medium. Overall a very good and easy drinking IPA.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark orange with a half finger of off-white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits with something a bit pissy in there. Taste is similar, lightly bitter. Light bodied with a thin and slick texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Meh, good but not great.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Golden amber pour, very little head, tons of sediment that just hangs there. Aroma has a bunch of caramel malt with some juicy citrus and light pine. Taste is a little hoppier than the aroma but itís still very malty for an ipa. Caramel, pine, citrus, and wet grass. Medium body. Decent but almost not even an IPA.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Weak but pleasant aroma; some caramel malt and hop resin. Excellent finger-length, fluffy head with amazing retention and great lacing - 5/5 on appearance! Flavor: good caramel malt and hop balance. Resin in the finish. Palate slightly watery. Slightly sweet. This is more like an English IPA or even an ESB than a standard American IPA, which means it is naturally not that highly-rated here, but I will take this over an over-the-top, undrinkable pine bomb any day. I also like it more than any other Point offering Iíve had so far; I came into this with not very high expectations, but this is a nice, pleasant, milder IPA thatís very easy to drink. Recommended if youíre like me and enjoy good malt/hop balances in your pale ales.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Shamrocks. Served a dark amber color with a small head and no real lacing. Aroma of mild citrus, grain and a bit of malt sweetness. Taste is fairly bland with a bit of citrus and malt sweetness. Has a slight bitterness and a clean finish. fairly light body, smooth with no distinct feel. Non-offensive but comes up a bit short for an IPA.
