COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Point Cascade Pale Ale is handcrafted combining special top-fermenting yeast and a dry hopping process to create this truly classic American Pale Ale. The intriguing character is derived from generous quantities of the choicest Yakima Valley Cascade hops and the finest crystal, 2 row pale, and Munich malts. The result is a delicious American Pale Ale with a signature fragrant hop bouquet and soft malt palate.

Super malty pale ale. More like a Ed ale than a pale. Smells malty and a little fruity. Had this one at home out of a bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: Clear amber with cm thick beige head. Aroma: Lemon, note of marzipan, marmalade, notes of biscuity malt, light caramel and a weird musky chemical subtle note. Taste: Low/medium sour and bitterness, low sweetness and a light pepperiness. Palate: Thin fairly smooth texture, light body, low carbonation, dry abrupt bitter, lightly sour citrus, peppery, malty finish. Comments: Ok but the musky chemical note detracted from the aroma and taste, a bit more carbonation would have been good.

DruncanVeasey (7160) - NUNEATON, Top 18, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2014
79p bottle from Treacle B&M. Orange gold with a good firm neck of mousse. Reasonable nose with peach iced tea, cedar and honey. Tepid peach flan in sponge casing attempts muted by vapidity and smothering Crystal malt. Finishes with an unappetising chalky calamine note- again the Crystal. Toffee hints. Not unpleasant but not my cup of tea either.

Appearance- light amber, hazy, frothy head which diminishes instantly. Aroma is lots of orange, tangerine, pine hints, very fruity. Taste- smooth, malts, medium mouthfeel, hop bitterness in the background, juicy fruit, bit of orange zest. Nice and drinkable.

355ml bottle bought last July at Sourced Market, St Pancras in London. Two finger sized, near white head, fine retention and lacing. Cloudy golden body. Grassy hops on the nose. Flavoured with hops promoting pineapples and peaches. Bittersweet fruity endnotes. Smooth and rather easy going (shared with Finn, Tromsø 05.03.2014).
