Draft at World of Beer in Land O Lakes. Pours a clear gold with a small head that quickly reduces to a thin sheet. Scattered sudsy lacing. Floral hop aroma with a touch of fruity apricot. Flavor is clean and easy drinking with a moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Funky, floral, golden ale aroma. OK label, clear, medium gold. Dry, odd malting, medium bitterness. Not bad, but not really satisfying. A certain green-ness to the finish, unripe. Long, astringent, uncomfortable finish. ABC, Betton.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, large bubbled, rapidly collapsing head, with a bit of lacing, over a clear light gold (SRM 4) body.....nose is cereal, light malt with hints of biscuit, hints of hops....taste is cereal, light sweetness with toffee/caramel hints, finishing with mild hop bitterness.....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation medium. This is a very light APA, with light hop bitterness and minimal malt complexity. It is obviously brewed for a newer beer consumer. Good ingredients, lightly handled, make for a light beer. BJCP 7/3/12/4/5

Pint pour of clean yellow with one finger white head. Nose is light light hop, sweetness and bubble gum. Not fantastic. Flavor is also lightly hopped for an American pale. More sweetness. Not a favorite.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Shag (2442) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JAN 7, 2013
This poured an amber color with a moderate white head. The aroma contains some citrus, light caramel, and grassy notes. The flavor is nothing very exciting and more malty than hoppy. Some citrus and malty notes. Overall unassuming kind of blah pale ale.

Not a bad Cascade Pale Ale for a Wisconsin brewery. The craze is spreading.

Point Cascade Pale Ale is a very clear, sparkling, golden ale that’s topped with a dense, off white foam that has great retention. It has a bright, citrusy hop aroma with a hint of caramel in the nose. It’s medium bodied with a chalky finish. It has a nice citrus peel bitterness and almost sweetness with the caramel flavor. It’s simple and bitter.
