Clear bright gold beer, little white head. Light crisp palate, semi dry. Very light creamy malt. Crispy minerals. Light but decent citrus hops. Finishes dry. Not setting the world alight but decent enough.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Barton upon Humber. Faintly hazy gold, thin shortlived white head and gentle condition. Pleasant hoppy nose with hints of biscuits and cheese, honey and grainy malt. In the mouth a gentle hoppiness with a fruity berry edge to start with, becoming slightly bitter and resinous before a delicate honeyed sweetness towards the end. The finish is muted bitterness with a resinous tingle and a fruity sweetness.

Quite a nice pale ale with a nice taste of fresh hops, I’ve had better examples but this was good

Bottle from Morrisons. Clear amber. Thick, off white head that soons disappears. Initial aromas are sweet biscuit malt and some grapefruit bitterness. It all soon turns a tad sickly sweet and hard going after that, though.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle. Clear gold pour, lots of little rising bubble, white head, doesnt last. Grainy biscuit nose, notes of fruity hops. Very bitter straight away in the flavour, tends to overpower. When the resiny grapefuit hops clear theres a little of that biscuity malt there. Fizzy, thin bodied. Finish is a touch dextrose-y. OK

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Appearance: light orange, small white head. Aroma: decent hoppy nose, caramel popcorn and malt. Flavour: malty, medium sweet hoppiness. Really not a lot to say about this I’m afraid. Medium bitter finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2013 Had this at the Cleveland Arms, Paddington, London, Saturday 17th August 2013 Pours gold with white head. Rather to much toffee for me. It was moderately refreshing, busy carbobation but all in all lacked a hoppy bite. Drinking this made me realise just how good the new wave of better UK micros are. This was really disappointing. Copper pour, scant head. Nose is, as advertised, fruity Cascade hops. Lightly bitter. Middle is roasted malt with fresh hop sprigs on the side. Finish is floral hop body. Sum not quite equal of parts.
