4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a golden, medium copper color with a short lasting cream head and fruity aroma. Slight bitterness in the begining which fades but then returns as an aftertaste. Very curious. Light hoppyness, grassy and a hint of citrus. Alcohol content is unknown but this tastes stronger than a regular beer, but not as strong as some ales Iíve had. Very, very good, but overpriced.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2012 Twelve ounce bottle from Point sampler pack bought at the great Salís Beverage World in Villa Park (suburban Chicago) Illinois. Sweet hoppy aroma, medium orange/brown color, crisp hop/citrus taste, pleasing finish. It doesnít have enough hops to kill a small child but itís a quite respectable effort from a regional brewer. Support the remaining regionals!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours to a very clean glowing bronzed colored body with a tall rocky white head and awesome lacing. The aroma is sweet and fruity. Grapefruit, pale malts, heavy flowers like tulips and lavender. The flavor is floral with huckleberry, honey, sweet pale malts, light pine. The palate is sweet like an APA (wow, I figured that all out without Ratebeer telling me). No bitterness to be found like I wanted. Heck I figured this was an IPA when I bought it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Happy 150th Anniversary to Stevens Point Brewery! This was the second brew featured at Cellarís LexLarp beer tasting. From the bottle, it pours a light amber with a white head. Aroma is of medium barley malt and lot of bitter Cascade hops. Taste of very hoppy ale where I can taste more hops than malted barley. A little watery finish but very good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very good hoppy pale ale. Not extreme but a quality hop aroma to go with the sweet crystal malts. A good balance in the taste. For the price (I have seen for $4-5/sixer) this is a very good buy and does not compromise the ingredients.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper color with a medium head. Holy Cascade aroma, Batman! Lots of floral and orange in the aroma and taste. This is like, pure liquid Cascade. Not as huge and complex as Hopslam, but this is a damn fine pale ale!

Nice floral hops. Minimal head. Dark yellow color and a very hopped body that was good, but a little watery.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2007 All I can say is that I liked this beer. Medium golden clear pour with a decent and quickly dissipating head. No lacing. Nice fragrant hop aroma. Flavor was straight-forward tasty hops, with a moderately light and very easy drinking, clean palate. Nothing offensive or out of whack here, just pure drinking enjoyment. I could definitely see this as a good "gateway" beer for those just beginning to venture into craft beers, as well as being satisfying to more experienced quaffers who can still appreciate and enjoy simple pleasures. Cheers to the Russian Mafia for supplying this little shiner.
