Point Cascade Pale Ale is handcrafted combining special top-fermenting yeast and a dry hopping process to create this truly classic American Pale Ale. The intriguing character is derived from generous quantities of the choicest Yakima Valley Cascade hops and the finest crystal, 2 row pale, and Munich malts. The result is a delicious American Pale Ale with a signature fragrant hop bouquet and soft malt palate.

For mentioning the name of the hop used in this brew, it is not nearly as hop-forward as you would expect. The nose is grain, not hops. It has a nice look when poured, but minimal head and lacing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UK labelled 355ml bottle from a cut-price supermarket chain (B&M Bargains): poured into a Batemans badged half-pint sleeve on 24th July 2014. Nice hoppy nose, floral and mildly citrus in nature. Light amber body with a non-staying head head. The taste is more malty than the aroma suggests and is initially semi-sweet, however the hops kick in mid-taste and the finish is drying and leaning towards bitter. Nice, easy drinking beer, cheap too.

Bottled 08/07/14. A bronze/orange coloured beer with no head. A reasonable hoppy ale. Not obviously cascade but definite citrus nd maybe a little peach. A nice enough body. It’s OK.

Its body has a deep golden hue with an average just off white head on top. It’s a slow fading head and a wispy covering hangs on till the last sip make some slick lacing on the way down the glass. The aroma is simple but nice and has a mild mix of citrusy lemon and pine like notes. Its medium body has a balanced mix of citrus and piney hop flavor with pale maltiness. The palate is light and refreshing and the finish has light hop bitterness fading quickly off the tongue.

Pours a nice clear amber color with off-white head. Floral notes, citrus, and just a bit of pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little malt.

Super malty pale ale. More like a Ed ale than a pale. Smells malty and a little fruity. Had this one at home out of a bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: Clear amber with cm thick beige head. Aroma: Lemon, note of marzipan, marmalade, notes of biscuity malt, light caramel and a weird musky chemical subtle note. Taste: Low/medium sour and bitterness, low sweetness and a light pepperiness. Palate: Thin fairly smooth texture, light body, low carbonation, dry abrupt bitter, lightly sour citrus, peppery, malty finish. Comments: Ok but the musky chemical note detracted from the aroma and taste, a bit more carbonation would have been good.
