2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beer lacks a bit of aroma hops that I like in this particuar style so it rates kind of low there. And, as Pale Ale’s go, it’s definately a "beginners" model. It’s not as hoppy as a traditional Pale Ale which I believe will make it more broadly accepted among the "light lager" crowd. I agree with BeerBelcher, it’s similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, but to me nowhere near as hoppy. And hey, I enjoyed this beer "On Site". Wausau / Stevens Point Airport awaiting my flight back to Saginaw via Detroit.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Caramel, candied malt smell with subtle hop aromas. Cascade is a beautiful hop - Merica! Bottle is at the end of its shelf life but the taste is still pretty floral with a citrus hit - nice finish with the malt. A fresh six pack would be a fantastic way to intrigue a curious drinker eager to try dem hoppy beers.
