3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured a light yellow with little head and lacing. Aroma was of light lemons and slight bit of malt. Taste is slightly lemony with a light malty backbone. Seems like a light beer with some lemon flavoring - not as sweet and syrupy as other íradlersí I have tasted. I could see drinking one of these following a workout. Palate is fairly light. Overall a decent summertime thirst quencher.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - Straw yellow pour with a foamy off-white head. Nose is actually quite nice--lemon-lime soda and grapefruit sugar candy without an overbearing sweetness. The taste isnít quite as good--itís all sugary gummy candy, like those sugar-coated orange slices I used to inhale as a kid. More lemon-lime soda on the finish, with mineral and a bit of corny lager. It could ramp down the sweetness and be much better, because the flavors are actually quite nice. Thin, watery, and effervescent--it nails the body. Just needs to be less sweet.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Seen floating in the cooler at a Friday night party - what the hey, as Iíve never had a radler. Full disclosure is that Iím not a big grapefruit fan. So, pour is nondescript with yellow color and minimal head. Aroma is lemony, hint of other citrus...not much else. Flavor is a mixture of Sierra Mist and pink grapefruit juice combined with a light beer - not anything offensive, but really not my cup of tea. I can see how this could be seen as refreshing after a lawn mow or something, but very glad to have had one. High level of carbonation.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Loose bottle rack at Binnyís. Yay, I get to give this beer itís full "rank." Letís see:
Lemonade smell right under the cap as expected. Giving this a bump in aroma for being as advertised, and for not smelling like Lemon Pledge. Large bubbled foam at the top, just a very few bubble in the beer itself, which is a very pale yellow. Taste, though, is way too thin to match its promise. Feels like itís been diluted and then had the flavor added. The citrus flavor itself is all right, but there is no beer to back it up. I guess the choice was to make a light summer beer instead of adding the sugared lemonade of a true Radler, but the result is just not very filling or satisfying. I prefer the Stiegl radler, and even the Amstel one.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a very pale color with a smallish head that fades away.
The aroma is odd but not bad. Intially itís got a very odd black pepper character but that sort of fades without going away completely. Itís sweet smelling & fruity with a bit of grapefruit & lemon.
The flavor is a balance of lemon lime soda and light beer, but again itís got that black pepper thing... Itís amazing how well the black pepper works here. I donít even....

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is lemon/lime/citrus and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is similar to the aroma along with malts in the background and mildly tart/sweet finish.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pale straw gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma is like citrus, floral and berry decorative hand soaps all mixed together. Flavor is sweet citrus, artificial berry flavor and grapefruit peels drenched in artificial sweeteners. Light body neutral to off dry and light, but quite sharp carbonation. Not very good, very alcopop-like.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
First off, not really a radler. 355ml twist off. Pale gold pour, fizzy quickly dissipating head. Smells terrible, like a lime scented runt candy. Taste is sweet, huge corny sweet polenta flavor, astringency, basil, 7up syurp. Man this blows.
