COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Drop Dead Blonde Ale. An alluring 110-calorie ale flaunting a gorgeous golden hue. The two-row malts provide Drop Dead Blonde Ale with its bright golden color and smooth, slightly sweet malty taste. The Sterling hops, which have grown in popularity in recent years, deliver a pleasant, soft hop character. The result is a truly intriguing beer: charming, refreshing, fun and memorable.

Pours a light gold with a light head and lacing. Aroma was of slightly sweet malts. Taste of primarily of 2-row barley malt with a light hop grassy finish. Palate is a bit on the thin side. Overall, a decent light ale, although I thought it was a bit pricey considering what’s there (or not).

Bottle. Pours clear light yellow with fast fading fizzy white head. Aroma is slightly floral and grassy. Flavor has hints of grain, signs of light citrus hop. Very light, watery and over carbonated body. Over all, not a bad beer but incredibly dull and lifeless...but I’d take it over a BMC any day. They where right about one thing, it is kinda refreshing, but this blond isn’t much too look at and no personality, what a tease.

Why on Earth can’t brewers add more hops to light beer? Light beer is made by reducing alcohol. Hops do not add much to the caloric content. This has almost no failure. Little malt, and no hops. It tastes like carbonated water and not much more of anything else. Pours a super light yellow with a weak head. Fail!

Tastes like diacetyl. It is super clear yellow. This is just a real failure of a beer.
