COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Drop Dead Blonde Ale. An alluring 110-calorie ale flaunting a gorgeous golden hue. The two-row malts provide Drop Dead Blonde Ale with its bright golden color and smooth, slightly sweet malty taste. The Sterling hops, which have grown in popularity in recent years, deliver a pleasant, soft hop character. The result is a truly intriguing beer: charming, refreshing, fun and memorable.

Pours pale yellow with white head... Aroma is a musty lemony sort of scent.. Taste is very light. Bread and light salt..clean finish...nothing special but would do again... Very easy drinking

Pale blonde, decent head at first but if fizzes out to a little film after a minute.

The aroma is corny and floral, mildly offensive and mildly pleasant... thatís all i can say about that...

The flavor is considerably better than the aroma, itís not at all unlike a fruitier version of the Special Lager (which is a favorite of mine)... I wouldnít be wholly surprised if the recipe didnít deviate too much. The beer is kind of bready, lightly sweet, floral, and has a mild grassy hop character. The bitterness is very restrained. I canít possibly think of another beer that is marketed to be "Low Calorie" that drank as good as this one.

The palate is thin, but not nearly as thin as you would expect and the carbonation works wonders on the mouthfeel.

A medium blonde colored beer out of the bottle with a thin bright white head. The nose was light with bell peppers and a little hint of raw dough. The taste is a little spicy with some bell peppers and a little bit of dough. The aftertaste is clean and light. A decent summer brew.

Average yellow ale. A decent intro for craft beer, but I prefer something that has more flavors.

Pours a pale gold with a soapy, thin white head. Aroma is planty, slightly grassy hops, toast and mixed grain. Flavor is rather plain, light spicy and citrus hops a hint of cereal and butter, not much else, weak and watery. Palate is light and fairly dry with a strong carbonation. Pretty much seems like a Pale/Premium Lager.

just like one would expect a blonde to be... light bodied, crisp, easy drinking.

Pours very pale yellow/gold with white head. Corn/Grain nose. Taste is light, watery....yet slightly crisp. Not offensive, just very, very bland. Yard work beer with a nice label.

BVery (6610) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - APR 29, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Clear light yellow pour, almost no head. Just pale malts and grain in this one, some carbonation zing, but overall just boring.

The palest of pale yellows with a thin film of a head. Aroma of boiled grain and light malt. Taste has a touch of grassy floral hops and slightly sweet malt. Lots of carbonation and a watery, doughy finish. Itís refreshing and has more taste than the major beers but thatís not saying much. Not really worth the price.

(12oz bottle) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grain, hay, and florals. Flavor of grain, florals, herbs, and some dough.
