COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Drop Dead Blonde Ale. An alluring 110-calorie ale flaunting a gorgeous golden hue. The two-row malts provide Drop Dead Blonde Ale with its bright golden color and smooth, slightly sweet malty taste. The Sterling hops, which have grown in popularity in recent years, deliver a pleasant, soft hop character. The result is a truly intriguing beer: charming, refreshing, fun and memorable.

Tastes like diacetyl. It is super clear yellow. This is just a real failure of a beer.

Bottle. Perfume and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with nice head. Lightly sweet barley malt flavor. Very light body. Most macros are better than this.

BVery (7470) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - APR 29, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Clear light yellow pour, almost no head. Just pale malts and grain in this one, some carbonation zing, but overall just boring.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short, sticky bright white head. The aroma picked up toasted grains and a little honey with faint lemon zest and grassy accents.. not much to it. The flavor found light bready malts and a pinch of honey at the core.. light grassy bitterness and prickly carbonation around.. finished quick with corn and a touch of cardboard plus graininess. Light-bodied and watery at a couple points on the palate.. drinkable, but not by any means rewarding.

PorterPounder (5970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Medium gold sparkling pour - no head retention whatsoever. Aroma is sulfuric in nature, hints of a pencil eraser after erasing a large amount of pencil lead. Flavor is similar to tonic water that is past its prime, some metal shavings, a bit of paper bag. Uneventful mouthfeel. More than the blonde is dropping dead from this one!

A medium blonde colored beer out of the bottle with a thin bright white head. The nose was light with bell peppers and a little hint of raw dough. The taste is a little spicy with some bell peppers and a little bit of dough. The aftertaste is clean and light. A decent summer brew.

Dry, slightly doggy, cereal aroma. Very pale, straw colored, clear. Good cap, fetching lasson the label. Twangy, lightly sweet, light bittering, way-faint diacetyl, a little mineral. Reasonably crisp, like kolsch without bitterness. Not much ale character. Clear, buttery finish. ABC, Betton.

Pours very pale yellow/gold with white head. Corn/Grain nose. Taste is light, watery....yet slightly crisp. Not offensive, just very, very bland. Yard work beer with a nice label.
