Drop Dead Blonde Ale. An alluring 110-calorie ale flaunting a gorgeous golden hue. The two-row malts provide Drop Dead Blonde Ale with its bright golden color and smooth, slightly sweet malty taste. The Sterling hops, which have grown in popularity in recent years, deliver a pleasant, soft hop character. The result is a truly intriguing beer: charming, refreshing, fun and memorable.

If you’re a Bud light / Miller Light drinker, then this is a good alternative for you. Overall, it’s a decent beer with a pleasant aftertaste and less than average calories. (On a side note: Contrary to what this page states at the top, this beer is 4.1% ALC/VOL per the label.)

Pours out to a thin white head and light gold-yellow color. No lacing. Aroma is light malts and floral/spicy hops. Flavor does more of the same with a crisp, dry grainy finish. Mouthfeel is light for style. Overall a pretty decent brew.

Pale blonde, decent head at first but if fizzes out to a little film after a minute.

The aroma is corny and floral, mildly offensive and mildly pleasant... that’s all i can say about that...

The flavor is considerably better than the aroma, it’s not at all unlike a fruitier version of the Special Lager (which is a favorite of mine)... I wouldn’t be wholly surprised if the recipe didn’t deviate too much. The beer is kind of bready, lightly sweet, floral, and has a mild grassy hop character. The bitterness is very restrained. I can’t possibly think of another beer that is marketed to be "Low Calorie" that drank as good as this one.

The palate is thin, but not nearly as thin as you would expect and the carbonation works wonders on the mouthfeel.

Pours a light gold with a light head and lacing. Aroma was of slightly sweet malts. Taste of primarily of 2-row barley malt with a light hop grassy finish. Palate is a bit on the thin side. Overall, a decent light ale, although I thought it was a bit pricey considering what’s there (or not).
