COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Drop Dead Blonde Ale. An alluring 110-calorie ale flaunting a gorgeous golden hue. The two-row malts provide Drop Dead Blonde Ale with its bright golden color and smooth, slightly sweet malty taste. The Sterling hops, which have grown in popularity in recent years, deliver a pleasant, soft hop character. The result is a truly intriguing beer: charming, refreshing, fun and memorable.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Medium gold sparkling pour - no head retention whatsoever. Aroma is sulfuric in nature, hints of a pencil eraser after erasing a large amount of pencil lead. Flavor is similar to tonic water that is past its prime, some metal shavings, a bit of paper bag. Uneventful mouthfeel. More than the blonde is dropping dead from this one!

Pours out to a thin white head and light gold-yellow color. No lacing. Aroma is light malts and floral/spicy hops. Flavor does more of the same with a crisp, dry grainy finish. Mouthfeel is light for style. Overall a pretty decent brew.

Over the years I have "known" a number of blondes I wanted to have "drop dead" none the least of these a certain ex- of mine.....but I digress. This beer may be easy like most blondes but wonít satisfy you like a slutty Blatz will. Think about it.

Bottle. A- Grains, cereal, malts, water. A- Golden color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Grains, corn, water, cereal. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, abrupt finish. O- Tastes like just about every macro beer out there. If I was doing a blind taste test Iíd say this was a Corona. Very little difference at all. Just pretty bland. Although itís still not horrible. Might be better with a lime in it.

From bottle. Light color, underwhelming nose. Passable perhaps in extreme heat or when Bud is the only alternative. Light, watery, forgettable.

Bottled from the grocery on sale cheap. Aroma is of wet dog, taste is similar. Possibly a better alternative than ulta lite as it has a bit of watery body. Not recommended.

Bottle. Perfume and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with nice head. Lightly sweet barley malt flavor. Very light body. Most macros are better than this.

If youíre a Bud light / Miller Light drinker, then this is a good alternative for you. Overall, itís a decent beer with a pleasant aftertaste and less than average calories. (On a side note: Contrary to what this page states at the top, this beer is 4.1% ALC/VOL per the label.)

Bottle. Barely perceptible sweet grainy malt aroma - Iíve tried some bad macros that had more to offer aroma-wise. Slightly hazed pale gold with a small white head, no retention. Light sweet grainy malt and very light bitter flavor. Light body, soft carbonation.

I thought it was an APA, but it tasted lighter and not hoppy. A golden appearance, hence the name. minimal head, light sweetness, light body. I would drink it again, it was a nice party beer.
