COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Point Einbock is an authentic Maibock Style Lager. There are many stories as to how Bock beers were named. Some assert the origins date back to the north-German town of Einbeck. Others maintain that "bock," the German word for "goat," relates to the "kick" of some bock beers. This seasonal Bock beer, offered only during the Spring, is hand-crafted utilizing the finest Munich and Vienna styles of specialty malts with a blend of Bavarian Hallertauer hops. With a German translation of "One-Bock," Point Einbock is one Bock you are sure to enjoy.

(bottle - 12 oz) Deep orange pour with a thin white head. Very light and malty aroma with some hints of grass, hay and hops following it up. Rather mild though. Flavor begins with a grassy and slightly sweet flavor, moving quickly to a crisp and bitter middle with some dry hints of hops and hay. Dry and crisp finish with some sweet fruity notes and a lightly dry and flowery finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a bubbly copper with soapy white head. The aroma is quite metallic with some grassy notes and a sugary hint. The flavor is strange candy sweetness with a little bit of herbal hops. Not sure how I feel about this.

Pale golden with an off white smallish head... Aroma of adjunct initially, possibly corn, caramel, slightly sweet, malty, not appealing, but not a complete turnoff either, kind of blah... Sweet malty, with no real hop presence, average at best... Touch lively, touch dry in the finish, a little sticky as well...

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet malty aroma with a bready toasty hint. The flavor is also malt driven, with some sweet bready notes, toffee, and just a touch of hops. Decent.

Golden with normal white head. Nose of grahams crackers and a bit of grassiness. Palate is a bit sweet, not too much going on. Not many dimensions, though it is refreshing.

Yes, has a rather strong sweet aroma tempered by slag. Looks nicely sparkling inthe glass, deeper yellow and clear. As strong in the initial flavor as the 6+% indicates, even stronger. Difficult at times but never triggers the gag reflex. Goodly amount of carbonatioon on the tongue for a stronger beer, mellows it out a bit off the blind side. For a twist off cap, this stuff is much like the better micro brews in this style. Medicinal back of throat linger sets in on the finish. Got this on the clearance shelf for $1!

Light amber with mammoth tan slowly diminishing head. Aroma of caramel malt, mixed fruit and spice. Taste mainly malty with notes of caramel, fruit and has a mild sugary/fruity finish. A little thin.
