COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Point Horizon Wheat is an alluring combination of spring wheat and specialty malts along with Yakima hops and American ale yeast. This lively and light, perfectly balanced wheat beer pours cloudy and finishes with a white creamy head. The glowing golden hue may help you visualize the start of a new day as early morning rays of sunshine bounce across the horizon of an American wheat field.

Bottled. Poured hazy pale golden with a medium, well-retained, dense white head. The aroma was vegetal, skunky, and fairly offensive.. nothing interesting on the malt front.. didn’t smell much different than your standard Heineken. The flavor found honey and bready malts at the core.. skunk still filled the nostrils, but wasn’t necessarily part of the taste.. grainy, sweetened lemon zest and earth around.. finished very dry with a little tasty lemon. Light-bodied with filling carbonation on the palate.. some interesting tartness from the wheat, but it was too sweet overall.. OK feel and flow.

Bottle- Pours a hazy golden color with a small head that faded to some lacing. Aroma of citrus and some grain. Quite clean. Taste of fresh grain with citrus and a bit of spice. A mild bitterness and clean finish. A bit more flavor than I expected for a wheat beer. Light body, crisp , clean and refreshing. Has a bit of character. Nice beer, better than I expected. More flavor than a number of wheat ales I have tried. Nothing fancy just a nice beer. It’s a good session beer, a backyard BBQ brew or to settle the dust on a hot day.

A yellow pour with a thin white head. It has a light wheat bread aroma. The light body has a thin texture with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet and refreshing.

Bottle at Minneapolis Beer Fest. Yellow pour, small white head. Pretty much just bland wheat - not much for other aroma or flavor elements. Pretty boring stuff.

Another wheaty beer. This is okay at best. No real fruit flavors, a bit of heft in the middle.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with white head. Aroma has nice fruit notes and wheat, light yeast. Flavor is much the same with a touch of citrus. Light soft body but somewhat watery and high carbonation. Overall, not bad...refreshing brew......Update...same glass....apparently this beer really starts to fall apart when it warms slightly....apparently it is best ice cold.
