Point Horizon Wheat is an alluring combination of spring wheat and specialty malts along with Yakima hops and American ale yeast. This lively and light, perfectly balanced wheat beer pours cloudy and finishes with a white creamy head. The glowing golden hue may help you visualize the start of a new day as early morning rays of sunshine bounce across the horizon of an American wheat field.

Bottle, pours a light gold color with slight haze and a white head. Ok this is a wheat beer and its a boring wheat beer at that, its light watery, no spice, no cereal. Nothing special at all.

Pours pale yellow with white head. Tastes like Point Special Lager with more wheat... and not a good wheat either. Point needs to learn to make beers that completely deviate from itís traditional flavor and recipe!! Take note from Central Waters!

From a sample bottle: Poured with some head that quickly dissipated and no lace. Hazy golden color. Yeasty, fruity, typical hefe-weisse characteristics of aroma and flavors. However, the body is a bit thin. Less of the estery qualities and a domination of the yeast. Finish is on the bitter side and not that great. Be good to try one on draft. Also a good beer to cook with.

Very pale unfiltered yellow with thin white head. Aromas of yeast, wheat & lemon. Tastes of lemon, thin, kind of chalky & just finishes wrong. Started good and finished bad.

Picked up a six pack at Discount Liquors in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw brew with an average size white head that slowly dissipates to a lumpy white film with some spotty lacing. Aroma of white bread malt, some citrus hops, wheat and a touch of lemon. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with some fruity wheat character of sweet pears, lemon zest and dark fruit. Finish is semi-sweet, with a light white bread aftertaste with some lemon zest.

Lightly cloudy straw color with a moderate white head. Dry nose, with hints of wheat, grain, citrus and cling peaches. Dry in flavor as well. Minimal malt flavors, again hints of wheat and some mild citrus. Finish has a touch of bitterness and linger has just a faint malt/wheat sweetness. Add a lemon to this and Iím somewhat sure it would completely take over the brew. Wheat Lite? Just not much here.

Had this one bottled in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, thanks Slothgar! Cloudy, dark yellow pour with a thin, white head that laced out nicely. Fruity nose of lemon, chardonnay. Slightly fruity, light and bready, with a soft finish, this would make a very nice summertime brew. Another good beer from Point.
