gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Mar 22, 2008 Had this one bottled in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, thanks Slothgar! Cloudy, dark yellow pour with a thin, white head that laced out nicely. Fruity nose of lemon, chardonnay. Slightly fruity, light and bready, with a soft finish, this would make a very nice summertime brew. Another good beer from Point. Skyview (2801), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Mar 29, 2008 Picked up a six pack at Discount Liquors in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw brew with an average size white head that slowly dissipates to a lumpy white film with some spotty lacing. Aroma of white bread malt, some citrus hops, wheat and a touch of lemon. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with some fruity wheat character of sweet pears, lemon zest and dark fruit. Finish is semi-sweet, with a light white bread aftertaste with some lemon zest. Jabswitch (179), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 28, 2008 Aroma was kind of straw = not that appealing. Pale and cloudy. Slight sweetness - not bad. Not a lot of flavor but it grew on me as I drank it. drpimento (478), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Apr 22, 2008 From a sample bottle: Poured with some head that quickly dissipated and no lace. Hazy golden color. Yeasty, fruity, typical hefe-weisse characteristics of aroma and flavors. However, the body is a bit thin. Less of the estery qualities and a domination of the yeast. Finish is on the bitter side and not that great. Be good to try one on draft. Also a good beer to cook with. JPDIPSO (4218), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Mar 26, 2008 Lightly cloudy straw color with a moderate white head. Dry nose, with hints of wheat, grain, citrus and cling peaches. Dry in flavor as well. Minimal malt flavors, again hints of wheat and some mild citrus. Finish has a touch of bitterness and linger has just a faint malt/wheat sweetness. Add a lemon to this and I’m somewhat sure it would completely take over the brew. Wheat Lite? Just not much here.
