Commercial Description:
Point Horizon Wheat is an alluring combination of spring wheat and specialty malts along with Yakima hops and American ale yeast. This lively and light, perfectly balanced wheat beer pours cloudy and finishes with a white creamy head. The glowing golden hue may help you visualize the start of a new day as early morning rays of sunshine bounce across the horizon of an American wheat field.

Bottle - Pours cloudy yellow, Nose of yeast, somewhat light and watery compared to other wheat’s. Missing spice that a general wheat has also. Very easy to drink, I would buy this again.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is faint, some malts and that is a reach. Flavor is again very light with some bitterness. This is almost not a beer b/c there is no real substance to this. Another poor one from point.

Pours pale. Very little aroma. Slight sweetness, low on impact. Easily a summer beer.

This beer poured a gold color with minimal lacing and a small white head. The aroma was of wheat and spices. The taste was wheaty and somewhat citrusy. An ok beer.

A cloudy yellow color with a relatively small white foam head. Bubbles are hard to spot through the opaque glass. The aroma reminds me of honey butter - perhaps on a light sourdough bread. Mayber I’m just hungry. Taste is butter like and flour like a buscut or pancake taste. A saltiness on the toungue may be some hops I am misinterperting. Palate is slippery and greasy leaving a percieved film feeling. This is just an OK unfiltered wheat, nothing worth hunting or paying extra for.

Bottle. A fairly clear meduim golden color ,with very little head ,medium carbonation , no lacing. Aroma is faint ,light wheat, bread crust and corn. Flavor is light , some detectable wheat ,and faint hops , lightly sweet, nothing offensive but not very flavorful . Thin body , medium carbonation , crisp very light hop finish . Very sessionable and drinkable but nothing that stands out to make it a great brew .

Although refreshing and highly drinkable, the flavor is weak and leaves the drinker wishing for more!

12oz bottle. Thick and cloudy orange-tan color. Aroma has some Hefe yeast, but also some macro malt. Smooth and sweet, inoffensive and easy drinking. Rather balanced and middle of the road for the style. Medium bodied and creamy on the palate. Hmm...just noticed the ABV is 3.65, which explains its watery smooth body and the crisp lemony finish. OK.

Bottle. Cloudy light orange color. No head to speak of. No lacing. Good orange aroma. Flavor of yeast and wheat. Very clean finish. Pretty average beer.
