CanIHave4Beers (204), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Jun 10, 2008 This was better than I thought it would be. Something that seems so obvioulsy a marketing scheme seemed a little un trustworthy. Never the less, this beer is a-ok
The beer poured a light orange with a small head. The aroma was more of grassy hops than most hefe-types. The flavor was crisp with a tiny bit of citrus and some nice spicy hops. The palate is smooth. This is pretty good for hot weather.
troyc (971), Lubbock, Texas, USA Oct 3, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a golden color with little head and a light haze to it. Thin aroma of wheat. Taste is very light and includes some wheat and maybe some other grain. Sweet and virtually hop-free. Very light palate. This is not a very good beer. lumpsowers (87), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 30, 2008 Light wheat with worscestshire aftertastes. Decent, not really worth repeating. Drnk_McDermott (1562), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Sep 22, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Just 26 ratings in 5 months? Surely a beer more discussed than tasted. Here’s a slightly hazy, slightly dark golden pour with a short layer of foam on top. General malt smell, nothing off about it. Light taste with a bit of "Wheaties" to it. Just a tad "crunchier" than the Goose 312. Can’t find the fruit taste other raters claim. Just a touch of hop spice. Nice summer beer. Ughsmash (3071), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 29, 2008 Bottled. Poured near-clear orangey-golden with a dusting of white head sticking around. The aroma picked up cardboard and honey on a weak presentation.. just a hair of herbal backing. The flavor wasn’t any better.. honey sweetness gave way to slightly-sour dry wheaty notes.. finished with bone-dry cardboard and a bit more honey. Light-bodied and dry on the palate with too much residual sourness and sharpness on the finish.. nothing really good going for it. phishpond417 (1456), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours a hazey golden yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and floral. Noticeably strong wheat aromas that are reminiscent to a hefe. Flavors of bananna, pear and golden apple.
