2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JoePeesie (574) - Long Lake, Illinois, USA - SEP 16, 2011
a below average pale ale, but it is drinkable. nothing worth seeking out, but if your in the north-woods and hit a gas station that for some reason doesn’t carry anything by New Glarus, pick it up. Not awful.

12 oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours copper in colour, pretty good white head. Nicely balanced caramel malt and resiny hops. Good PA.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 JStax (689) - Devola, Ohio, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Poured into an english pint glass. Appearance is a hazy copper with a frothy, creme head of foam that dissipates at a normal rate and leaves thick lacing. Aroma is like a musty grapefruit that has been rubbed with hops. The smell isn’t overbearing, just pleasantly present. Taste is less than stellar, faint hop presence with a grapefruit peel taste in the forefront that fades to a yeasty backbone. Earthy with a touch of fruitiness. I would say this one is okay at best.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jebert (288) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 26, 2010
Pours a beautiful dark gold color with a huge white head with lots of effervesence. Nose is hops with a hint of citrus. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. Taste is hoppy, but not overly so, and not bitter. A very nice pale ale. Goes well with deli sandwiches and chips.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 FunkyBrewster (1314) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 17, 2010
On tap at Subterranean in Chicago. Pours a deep amber color with a smallish but lingering off white froth. Aroma is crisp, clean, some citric characters, not overly strong hoppiness, but still some floral and sweet malt notes giving balance. Flavor is again crisp and clean, a bit more bitter than I expected, some cereal grain breadiness, but the hops stay present throughout. Again, a citric character brings a bit of tartness. Light to medium body and a sharp carbonation. They changed the keg right before my pour so it was pretty fresh, not bad. Point has become a good cheap go to beer while out doing something where I don’t want to think too much about my beer but I also don’t want to cringe with each sip.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheAlum (2976) - Lisle, Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2009
16 oz draft at Tribes Alehouse (Mokena, IL). Pours a nice darker gold, a moderate whitish head atop cakes, laces well, stays decent sized. Aromas are a light floral and citrus bouquet, flowers and lemon rind, pale malts throw some sweetness upon. Light, underpowered. Initial is light bodied, lemony citrus comes on dominant, rind and pulp, a touch of lemon cream cookies, pale malts underneath with florals and a bit of earthiness. A very lemon tilted APA. Further in much the same, balanced, light. Not bad.
