phishpond417 (1420), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 12, 2008 A light bodied, golden lager which poured out a suprisingly large head due to all the carbonation in this beer. has sort of silky taste but not a lot of excitement.
Jmichael (542), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Aug 14, 2008 strait out the bottle, nothing special, but nothing skunk either, pretty smooth and light, it is what it is, better than you would think hopdog (4569), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2008 12oz bottle (with the 1800’s era label reproduction; boy am I lucky to score this one!). Poured a lighter yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas and tastes of grains and some corn. Thin and watery. Sledge Jr (2716), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jul 26, 2008 In the 12 pack cans from HyVee CB. Pale yellow with a poofy white head. Mild vegetable and dextrose fermentation aroma. Medium carbonation and yet the palate is still over the top fizzy. Not quite as good as Grain Belt Premium, but still way better than BMC, This might be my next cooking beer. MrBunn (853), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. Pour is amber with not much head. Aromas are sweet, apple juice concentrate with not much else to offer. Flavor is completely pointless. Why bother? I would expect more from a small-scale opperation... but this borders on macro-swill. And I though this would be a "special" lager... AndrewKScott (340), Lemont, Illinois, USA May 31, 2008 Pours clean yellow with a thin head. It’s sweet, and corny in the aroma. Taste is well balance, grains, grass corn. Good crisp mouth feel and crisp finish.
