Pour is a bright red with a white head. Aroma is roasted malts. Flavor is caramel malts but its a bit thin. I don’t really get the bock style but you could drink a few of these and they would not offend but on the other hand they would not make you jump for joy.

Rose amber in color with a concrete, tan/gray fizzy head that dramatically pops away. Huge malty smell - caramel, roasted and chocolate malts, which prove that this will resemble a bock in some way, shape or form (I’ve been nervous to pick this one up because I had such low expectations.) Hints of an aroma similar to a wood paneled sauna room, with hot coals burning full force. Flavor is dry semi-sweet chocolate and some toffee. Slight metallic tinge that I associate with the high production breweries’ versions of a bock (Leines, Huber / Berghoff, etc.) Some chocolate coated caramel chew qualities. For $4.99, this is a pretty good option to bring to family togethers and other parties. Sweet caramel syrup / Coca Cola palate feel. Much better than expected.

This beer had a nose and taste for barley, strong and persistent. Good crabonation, and although a little thin, one of the better offerings from Point.

Not really a good bock. Seems to be mashed together in a quick fashion leading to an amateurish product. Aroma is slightly acrid and flavor is dominated by unmatured malt and related syrupy sweetness. Poor finish overall -- doesn’t feel good going down. Still higher rated than many other beers.

Pours redish brown with not much head or lacing. There was a sweet taste with hints of carmel. It finished good but, it was a little light on taste. I wish they would have made it a bit stronger.

Clear copper color that shines through red. Creamy off-white head. Rich caramel malty aroma. Crisp caramel malt taste with some light hop notes. Decent mouthfeel... a little too much one-sided malt for me. Its a pretty typical bock with no major flaws.

thanks to duane for more bock love, pours a deep red color with a light layer of white head. the aroma is sweet and rich with caramel tones. the flavor matches the aroma, but i didnt really find any of the chocolates that are advertises. either way, the taste is very smooth with a perfect amount of bitterness to offset the sweetness. nothing negative in the aftertaste of a medium to light body. a little yeasty and maybe a little undercarbonated, but still a good brew.

Dark amber in color with a large, off-white head that was mostly diminishing. Caramel malts, stewed vegetables, and peat in the aroma. Sweet flavor, somewhat yeasty, with some fruity, berry notes. Finish is of stale sourdough bread.
