Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is a pale malt and not much else. Flavor is a decent dry malt with some grassy hop toward the end. Nothing spectacular but a decent kolsch.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 kdm1984 (434) - Missouri, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Typical kolsch aroma of wheat and dirty socks, though more wheat and less dirty socks, to its credit. Taste is where it gets weird. It’s almost sour. It gets more bitter and interesting toward the end, but before that...not very good. Watery, sour, and a little off-putting. Drinkable, but only because of the more pleasant finish and aftertaste. Uneven.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 thedm (4773) - Fort Wayne, USA - APR 18, 2013
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy with a frothy top fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent golden orange colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was cardboard and dough. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The deep flavor contained notes of cardboard and dough. Not one that I would buy again.

Twelve ounce bottle from Hattings Supermarket, tasted on July 28, 2012. Slighty hazy yellow hue, small white head, slightly fruity aroma with a pale lager-like undercurrent, moderate bittersweet flavor with some fruitiness, sweetness predominates.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ughsmash (6671) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 19, 2012
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up lemon rind over sweeter bready malts, toasted grains, and a pinch of honey.. smelled like it was going to be refreshing. The flavor found grains and pale malts at the core, with peppery bitterness and lemon around.. finished crisp with nice balance. Light-bodied with prickly carbonation on the edges.. smooth through the middle of the palate.. well-balanced and refreshing.

This stuff is by no means extraordinary, but I don’t agree with its putrid ratings. There’s a pale yellow color and a fruit smell at first, but no foam. It has a flat mouthfeel. It has a tame kolsch flavor that’s sweet and light. Bananas? It’s a little like High Life, except not as bubbly, because there’s only one Champaign of Beers. I would give this a "C" grade because it’s drinkable but not something I’d choose to get again, given other more exciting options.
