Pours a light brown with little to no head. Aroma is of strong pumpkin roll. Very bready with vanilla, pumpkin, and spice. Flavor has pumpkin flavor but more spice driven. Sweet aftertaste with more carbonation than desired. Overall good pumpkin beer. Aroma is what drives this beer.

Nice aroma and color. Definitely an autumn beer with a creamy froth. Not so much on the pour but on the throat. The taste is like an SA Octoberfest but with just the right amount of pumpkin and spices. I would get it again if it was priced right. Certainly drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(12oz bottle) fairly cloudy deep copper, fine tan edge bubbles. Nose of real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, almost like a pumpkin cookie. Taste of pumpkin mash, fruity yeast esters, cinnamon, nutmeg, touch of clove. An excellent pumpkin beer.

Bottle shared with northropfrye via cards04. Smells and tastes like pumpkin pie! OMG! OMG! Finishes watery and not such a great appearance or palate but OMG the pumpkin pie smell and taste. Kudos to them for nailing this!

Thanks cards04. Dark orange body with sediment and a orangey/brown head, not much retention, though. All the pumpkin pie spices in the aroma. Taste is also quite sweet and full of fall spices. Abv well masked. Quite nice.

12oz bottle via 4 pack generously sent to me by my cousin Glenn. Poured a hazy deep amber color with a small creamy tan head. Aroma caramel, pumpkin, pie crust, amber malt, and cinnamon. Taste is pretty killer. Sweet caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, pie crust, pumpkin, and vanilla cream. Taste like liquid pumpkin pie with whip cream. Definitely one of my new favorite pumpkin beers!

Smells rich and pumpkin pie like. Taste however is a bit boozy. no desire to taste alcohol in any beer but especially not something like this. Flavor otherwise is pretty good with nice pumpkin spice flavors. booze killed an otherwise great pumpkin beer. why make it 7.5%?

This is one epic pumpkin beer. It actually tastes like a piece of pumpkin pie. Crust and all. Buttery, spicy, and earthy pumpkin wrapped up in a bottle. One of the best pumpkin beers I’ve had.

From the aggressive pour I got a two finger tall soapy head which is light tan in color. It quickly fades leaving just a thin film covering with slightly thicker ring at the edge. Under this is a deep amber body with good clarity and nice visible carbonation. There is pie spice and sweet malt in the nose here with just a hint of herbal hops coming through as well. As the aroma foreshadows there is a sweet bready and almost pie crust like maltiness with a heavy hit of pumpkin pie spice. Cinnamon and nutmeg are the standouts. The pumpkin/squashy character is light but noticeable. The finish has plenty of lingering pie spice and a little herbal flavor with mild hop bitterness. I also notice a little of the 7.5% ABV here too.
