Bottle purchased at Premier Gourmet in Buffalo. Pours a mahogany colour with an off white tan like head. Some minor spots of lacing here and there. Smell is outstandingly of pumpkin and spice and (with the risk of making the joke) everything nice. Some sweet malt and yeast in there as well. Tastes like a spicy pumpkin tart or something. I was surprised that there is no real spicy bite in the mouth feel at all. Pretty damn good.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2012 Aroma is pie crust, spices and a hint of pumpkin. The flavor is spices, bread/pie crust and a tart finish.

The body was dark copper with a yellowish head. The nose has nutmeg and pumpkin. There is a little caramel. The taste is pumpkin rind and nutmeg. The finish is a little woody. This is a little too much vegetable.

Pours a reddish orange with a small tight head. The aroma is spicy with some pumpkin pie and fruit, fairly nice all around. The flavor is more pumpkin pie spice with a fair bit of booze but a rich maltiness that never really seems terribly sweet. It’s pretty tasty beer, but I think it would be a lot better at a lower gravity.

Thin off-white head of fine bubbles. Spices and pumpkin with some sweet malts and a bit of butterscotch. Color is a dark copper brown. Flavor is mild spice and pumpkin. Some gingerbread and toasted grains. Slightly gritty mouthfeel. Noticable but light alcohol presence. Finishes spicy and dry. A pretty decent pumpkin brew.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Big pumpkin spice, cinnamon and nutmeg aroma with some honey sweetness. The flavor isn’t quite as good. Pumpkin, nutmeg, and a light sweetness. Not bad.

Pours clear, dark copper with a 1 finger, creamy eggshell head. Aroma is mostly pumpkin pie spice, heavy on cinnamon and low on allspice, the way I like it, some caramel and lactose-like sweetness. Flavor is much the same, but with an odd note-seems like fusel alcohols, but I think it’s actually from the spices, light planty and spicy hops along with lasting pie spice to the finish. Palate is medium bodied, kind of slick up till the fairly dry finish and has a medium, sharp carbonation.

Tapper was served as mid-amber/gold with a nice lace. Aroma of mainly spices with a malt backbone. Taste was similar - a nice light spicy front end going into a malt mid-section and a moderate hop finish. Palate was decent and nice. Overall, a quality offering from Point.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear burnt orange color with about an inch and a half frothy off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The flavors in this brew as just like I smell in the aroma, but the taste isn’t quite as strong as I thought it would be (but it’s still good). Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick and has moderate carbonation. Drinkability is good, it’s smooth and goes down easy. Not a bad overall pumpkin ale, I’d buy this again in the future. It’s definitely worth a try.
