Plum color with a pink head, and a thick head at that. Great aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg and allspice. Tastes like pumpkin, cream, and spice with a healthy bite. One of the best pumpkin ales Iíve had. Good, bitter finish.

(bottle) Pours a semi-hazy orange color with a thin white head and a little bit of lacing. Aroma smells exactly like my Momís homemade pumpkin bread, so Iíve gotta give this a 10 for the sentimentality alone. Big spice aroma with a ton of cinnamon showing up over the rest of the spices. Good presence of pumpkin here too. Could be a little toastiness as well which is a nice addition. Flavor is full of sweet pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Again, the cinnamon really shows here, and itís a very welcome flavor. Have to ding the finish just a bit, as the beer kind of thins out and doesnít linger nearly as long as Iíd expect it to. Overall this is unmistakably a pumpkin and spice forward beer, which is something I definitely look for within this often highly-variable style. Never thought Iíd type this but, well done, Point.

Tons of off-white lace all over my glass. Whoa, massive nutmeg/cinnamon bomb in the nose. Jesus, that smells great.
Taste delivers so much nutmeg & cinnamon! Pumpkin pie in my mouth. Good, yet falls short of the awesomeness shown in the aroma. Solid.

My favorite pumpkin ale out there! Neighbor shared some of his stash & I've been grateful ever since.

Iíve tried nearly a dozen pumpkin ales and this by far is my favorite. If youíre looking with a pumpkin ale that really captures the flavor of pumpkin pie then this is the beer for you. It has a creamy vanilla note to it that almost all other pumpkin ales Iíve tried are missing. This is heavy on the spice and pumpkin flavor, while still letting the taste of the beer through.

Bottle. Very pumpkiny and spicy, finishes with a very straightforward light beery flavor. Sweet flavors, initially sweet taste, finishes drier. Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves. I really liked this beer. One of the best versions out there.

Thin-bodied, but overall it is hard to really fault this beer as a pumkin beer. It hits all the marks.

12 oz bottle served in a snifter.
Pours clear, deep red-copper with a modest and weak tan head.
More spicy in the flavor and feel than in the nose, particular the cinnamon component. Perhaps due to a richer malt base, even with rather bold spicing this pumpkin is not over-spiced. Those not liking cinnamon much will disagree; this has enough cinnamon to, I think, add a slight burn to the feel.
