Out of a bottle at the brewery. Orange/brown pour. Great aroma of spices. Tastes extremely of pumpkin pie. One of the best pumpkin beers I have had.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Vigorous pour needed to create head; head creamy but short lived; wonderful pumpkin pie aroma; oily texture; nice upfront but drops off and no finish.

Bottle from express sprits / citgo in Huntsville - I’m impressed with this one. So many of the pumpkin beers leave me vaguely disappointed, but this isn’t one of them. The pumpkin pie spices are present with out being overpowering. Well balanced, I like!

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2012 Slightly hazy brownish orangish red looks like a true pumpkin.Nice spice aroma, refined and mellow pretty balanced pumpkin spice, nothing perfumey.Nutmeg vanilla caramel, malt, light cinnimon married very nicely for a very nice aroma-smells delicious.
Taste has a nice creamyness to it with malt carmel ,a mild toffee and a touch of roasted malt,a matched spiced pumpkin taste like aroma, toastyness, drinkability is really good not in a quaffible quenching way but just nothing offputting, this has been one of the better ones and definatly a pumpkin beer to have if you want a good one./The cinnamon and nutmeg do so more but nothing overpowering, very well spiced with a nice conditioned flavor.

Poured from bottle. I smell pumpkin, apple and spice. Mahogany with a bit of a tan head. Well balanced flavors of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, banana, burnt caramel and a dash of pepper. Slight alcohol in the back. Mellow finish. Well done.

12oz bottle, no date from firmbuttstone. Clear brown amber with some very fine particulate matter, and a small beige head, low retention. Aroma has a fair amount of banana nut bread and fruitcake, light raisin behind. Flavor is fruit cakey with some boozy notes added, some caramel and spice. Medium body with fairly low carbonation. Dry finish, some alcohol and toast noted, bitterness peaked at a 2-3. I enjoyed Tyranena’s better, just before this one.

The beer pours autumn amber with a nice tan head on top. The aroma is light earthy pumpkin and spices as expected, pleasant. The flavor is similar on a light to medium body. The cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and the usual autumn spices with the light pumpkin flavor make up for it.

Had at capons. Pour was a clear amber with no head or lace. Aroma is full of pumpkin and mild hops. Flavor is much of the same. Good pumpkin though

On tap at Capone’s. Poured an amberish color with a smaller sized head. Yep, a pumpkin beer - pumpkin with spices. This one tilted more towards pumpkins vs. spices which is what I like.
