3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle; Pour is fairly murky dark golden / amber with a modest, fine bubbled white head in this glass; it retains poorly, frankly - the nose is subtle, but pleasant here. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and graham cracker come through , with a touch of caramel present. The flavor profile is initial modest bitter from the hop profile, moving to a more robust malty bready cinnamon , spicey, light pumpkin notes and finishing with more graham cracker and modest spicing here. For a subtle brew, it has a nice balance, feel, and hides alcohol well for me.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear burnt orange color with about an inch and a half frothy off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The flavors in this brew as just like I smell in the aroma, but the taste isnít quite as strong as I thought it would be (but itís still good). Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit slick and has moderate carbonation. Drinkability is good, itís smooth and goes down easy. Not a bad overall pumpkin ale, Iíd buy this again in the future. Itís definitely worth a try.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
If I were blindfolded and this beer was place under my nose, Iíd swear I was smelling PUMPKIN PIE! Marvelous! Pours a slightly hazy cinnamon amber with a mostly diminishing foamy tan head and spotty lacing. The taste, like the nose, is delightful! Pumpkin, all the appropriate spices, even the whipped creamed topping and a well browned crust are present. None of the flavor elements overpowers their neighbors. Very well balanced. Overall, this is an exceptionally well crafted beer and true winner!

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(bottle) Pours a semi-hazy orange color with a thin white head and a little bit of lacing. Aroma smells exactly like my Momís homemade pumpkin bread, so Iíve gotta give this a 10 for the sentimentality alone. Big spice aroma with a ton of cinnamon showing up over the rest of the spices. Good presence of pumpkin here too. Could be a little toastiness as well which is a nice addition. Flavor is full of sweet pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Again, the cinnamon really shows here, and itís a very welcome flavor. Have to ding the finish just a bit, as the beer kind of thins out and doesnít linger nearly as long as Iíd expect it to. Overall this is unmistakably a pumpkin and spice forward beer, which is something I definitely look for within this often highly-variable style. Never thought Iíd type this but, well done, Point.

Pour form a 12oz bottle. Deep orange/brown slightly cloudy brew with small tan head. Great aroma of earth, pumpkin and mild spices. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, an ineffable pumpkin quality and mild spices. Ends with a beautifully balanced bitterness that slakes the sweet pumpkin pie flavor and leaves the palate clean, save for a bit of ethanol. A remarkably good pumpkin brew!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle served in a snifter.
Pours clear, deep red-copper with a modest and weak tan head.
More spicy in the flavor and feel than in the nose, particular the cinnamon component. Perhaps due to a richer malt base, even with rather bold spicing this pumpkin is not over-spiced. Those not liking cinnamon much will disagree; this has enough cinnamon to, I think, add a slight burn to the feel.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tons of off-white lace all over my glass. Whoa, massive nutmeg/cinnamon bomb in the nose. Jesus, that smells great.
Taste delivers so much nutmeg & cinnamon! Pumpkin pie in my mouth. Good, yet falls short of the awesomeness shown in the aroma. Solid.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2012 Slightly hazy brownish orangish red looks like a true pumpkin.Nice spice aroma, refined and mellow pretty balanced pumpkin spice, nothing perfumey.Nutmeg vanilla caramel, malt, light cinnimon married very nicely for a very nice aroma-smells delicious.
Taste has a nice creamyness to it with malt carmel ,a mild toffee and a touch of roasted malt,a matched spiced pumpkin taste like aroma, toastyness, drinkability is really good not in a quaffible quenching way but just nothing offputting, this has been one of the better ones and definatly a pumpkin beer to have if you want a good one./The cinnamon and nutmeg do so more but nothing overpowering, very well spiced with a nice conditioned flavor.

Poured from bottle. I smell pumpkin, apple and spice. Mahogany with a bit of a tan head. Well balanced flavors of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, banana, burnt caramel and a dash of pepper. Slight alcohol in the back. Mellow finish. Well done.
