Ale brewed with pumpkin and spices. Handcrafed using real pumpkin and savory pumpkin pie spices and hints of all natural cinnamon and nutmeg. Perle hops balance with rich Munich, Roasted, and Caramel malts for the full-bodied taste and exceptional flavor.

Poured copper-gold with decent head. Aromatics of sweet pumpkin pie spices. Great flavor! A nice surprise with Thanksgiving this year. An interesting discovery - 2012 GABF winner.

Intrigued by this at the 2015 Lakeshore Beverage Trade Show in Chicago, so I was generously offered a 12 oz. bottle to enjoy once more at home. Poured to a mini Czech-pils glass, showing a clear, coppery amber color, with a frothy, persistent layer of tan head foam, and lacing of clingy ribbons & spots. The nose presented some caramel apple sweetness to start, then a perfumey, expressive, and balanced blend of pie spices, with an additional scent of pumpkin puree. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste added a bit of estery tanginess, moderate, earthy bitterness, and a touch of alcohol warmth to the finish. Sometimes I’ve missed with some Point offerings, but this was a successfully balanced & tasty seasonal.

Bottle pour. The beer is a clear colper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has nice pumpkin pie and a pleasant sweetness to it. The spices seem to be well covered up. Bigger body and medium carbonation.

Draft, pours a deep copper base with creamy tan head. Big spicy nose packed with cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Light yeast, toasted malts, and ripe apple taste. Flavors are a touch too intense and rich to have more than one in a sitting.

Pours cloudy amber orange with small-medium beige head that quickly disappears. Nice nose of vanilla, pumpkin, gingerbread. Alcohol fizz adds zest to well-judged balance of pumpkin, spices, caramel. Definite sweetness cut by high carbonation. Almost soda-like, but dry finish restrains it to ale. This is definitely a beer for those who expect pumpkin pie flavors as opposed to squash or hops. The 7.5 percent ABV is borderline for a session, but the taste holds up nicely close to room temperature.

I love me some pumkin beer. This one smells just like a pumkin pie, with nutmeg, pumkin aromas dominate. Taste was a little underwhelming, still pumkin but a little thin overall. Good but not great.

Pours a murky copper orange with a small off white head with tiny bubbles that settles to a ring and not much lacing. Actually pick up pumpkin in the rounded aroma as well as cinnamon, nutmeg, graham cracker and thankfully just a mild amount of clove. Taste is a little more reserved than many pumpkin beers with the toasty malt and caramel flavors coming through as well as the typical pumpkin and spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg and mild clove. Even a hint of vanilla sweetness. Mouthfeel was prickly with a medium body and high carbonation. I enjoyed the more tamed pumpkin ale flavors and more prominent malt character but thought the high level of carbonation hurt the mouthfeel while helping to scrub some of the more intense spice flavors away. Very good pumpkin ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank from a chalice glass at Andy Gavin’s in Scranton, PA. Pours a nice brown color with zero head. Strong aromas of pumpkin. The taste is strong of pumpkin but not overpowering as most pumpkin beers are.

Pour to snifter, a thick and murky blood red/orange with little head. Nose is quite literally pumpkin pie, little bit graham cracker, some cider. Flavor holds up to the robust nose, brimming with warm spices, balanced mouthfeel and a forgiving carbonation. A very great offering!
