Pours a rich brown with a fine off white head. Aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg (essentially pumpkin pie). Taste has a balanced malt background offset with spices and some mild bitterness. There is a little bit of a flat light sourness that isnít quite pleasant. The mouthfeel is good ending dry, but with enough fllavor. The high ABV comes through a little.

Copper colored liquid with a tallish beige head. No doubt this is a pumpkin pie spice brew from the first sniff. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger all seem to prevail in the nose. Iím looking for either a little crust or malt, but Iím not finding much. Still a nice spicy aroma. This is a bit rough when cooler, and slightly mellows as it warms. Initial cinnamon bite, followed by a little bit of toasted malt. Reminds me of the slightly burnt edge of crust. Quite thick and nearly mouthcoating. This is more a sipper than one to quaff. The finish and linger have a burnt edge that continues from the prior thoughts. Slightly warming. I like it, in a small dose dessert kind of way.

Pours a nice orangish-brown with small head. Intense aroma of pumpkin and nutmeg. Flavors are pumpkin spice with roasted grain and bitter hop finish. Just a bit too sweet to be entirely successful and a bit thin in the palate. Worth a try.

Sampled at the 2009 Great Nebraska Beer Festival. Pours dark amber with a huge spiced aroma of pumpkin pie spices. The flavor has big pumpkin pie spices as well but the beer is slightly chemical at the finish. It seems schizophrenic. Not something I would ever drink again.

Pours a reddish orange with a small tight head. The aroma is spicy with some pumpkin pie and fruit, fairly nice all around. The flavor is more pumpkin pie spice with a fair bit of booze but a rich maltiness that never really seems terribly sweet. Itís pretty tasty beer, but I think it would be a lot better at a lower gravity.

Bottle. Poured a slight hazed brown with an off-white head that settled to a ring. Sweet aroma of brown sugar and light spice and pumpkin. The flavor found pumpkin and caramel. Light to medium body, sweet throughout, and a caramel aftertaste.

Bottle from Caponeís. Copper pour with half a finger of head. Nose is pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, with the same in the flavor, some caramel malt, and a medium palate. Not as bold, complex, or unique as some other pumpkin offerings, but not bad at all.

On tap at Caponeís. Poured an amberish color with a smaller sized head. Yep, a pumpkin beer - pumpkin with spices. This one tilted more towards pumpkins vs. spices which is what I like.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy orange body with an off-white head. Aromas are nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and graham cracker. Flavors are a bit bland and a bit nutty and malty. Graham cracker, nutmeg, cinnamon. Medium bodied, and dry. Probably better than I was expecting.

This one poured a darker orange with an off white head. Aroma of cinnamon l, nutmeg, toast and caramel. Decent pumpkin pie flavors, but then drops off in the finish.
