If I were blindfolded and this beer was place under my nose, I’d swear I was smelling PUMPKIN PIE! Marvelous! Pours a slightly hazy cinnamon amber with a mostly diminishing foamy tan head and spotty lacing. The taste, like the nose, is delightful! Pumpkin, all the appropriate spices, even the whipped creamed topping and a well browned crust are present. None of the flavor elements overpowers their neighbors. Very well balanced. Overall, this is an exceptionally well crafted beer and true winner!

Pours a deep amber color with off-white head. Pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and caramel malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some spice.

09/20/13 trade from Jamil. A stellar pumpkin. Big pumpkin spice nutmeg scent with sweet cream touch. Beauty of a bronze pour. Medium body. Big pumpkin to spice flavor with a creamy mix on the nutmeg finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle) Pours a semi-hazy orange color with a thin white head and a little bit of lacing. Aroma smells exactly like my Mom’s homemade pumpkin bread, so I’ve gotta give this a 10 for the sentimentality alone. Big spice aroma with a ton of cinnamon showing up over the rest of the spices. Good presence of pumpkin here too. Could be a little toastiness as well which is a nice addition. Flavor is full of sweet pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Again, the cinnamon really shows here, and it’s a very welcome flavor. Have to ding the finish just a bit, as the beer kind of thins out and doesn’t linger nearly as long as I’d expect it to. Overall this is unmistakably a pumpkin and spice forward beer, which is something I definitely look for within this often highly-variable style. Never thought I’d type this but, well done, Point.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2012 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel-amber color with a huge creamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was semi sweet with strong nutmeg and moderate cinnamon and toasted caramel. The flavor was sweet caramel, apple, strong cinnamon and nutmeg and a fairly strong pumpkin element. The finish was medium length tangy caramel and spice. Fairly full bodied. Really tasted quite a bit like a pumpkin pie. Excellent.

Had at capons. Pour was a clear amber with no head or lace. Aroma is full of pumpkin and mild hops. Flavor is much of the same. Good pumpkin though

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2012 Slightly hazy brownish orangish red looks like a true pumpkin.Nice spice aroma, refined and mellow pretty balanced pumpkin spice, nothing perfumey.Nutmeg vanilla caramel, malt, light cinnimon married very nicely for a very nice aroma-smells delicious. Taste has a nice creamyness to it with malt carmel ,a mild toffee and a touch of roasted malt,a matched spiced pumpkin taste like aroma, toastyness, drinkability is really good not in a quaffible quenching way but just nothing offputting, this has been one of the better ones and definatly a pumpkin beer to have if you want a good one./The cinnamon and nutmeg do so more but nothing overpowering, very well spiced with a nice conditioned flavor.

Bottle. Pours deep amber/Orange with off-white head. Aroma has everything a pumpkin pie has...pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and even doughy crust. Flavor is much the same but add some malty sweetness and it is perfected!! You can even taste the crust in this beauty! Mouthfeel is medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Overall, I love everything about this brew, the maltiness, the flavors, the balance....EXCELLENT brew!!!

Draught at Andys Corner bar. Very comparable to Southern Tier Pumking but better. Dark copper orange in color, with a little off white head. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Pumpkin pie spice aroma, tastes so close to pumpkin pie. Light malty hoppy notes. Light pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon flavor with light bitterness notes. Full bodied. Finish is malty and dry and enjoyable. Very drinkable.

Pours dark ruby reddish amber. Very small white head. Aroma is flat out pumpkin pie; pumpkin, tasteful use of spice - really smells good. Flavor matches expectations of aroma. Just enough sweetness, spice, and hop presence - touch of alcohol. Its stays a ’beer’, which is really a compliment. Medium body. Very well done. This is good. Possibly the best overall pumpkin beer I’ve had.
