Ale brewed with pumpkin and spices. Handcrafed using real pumpkin and savory pumpkin pie spices and hints of all natural cinnamon and nutmeg. Perle hops balance with rich Munich, Roasted, and Caramel malts for the full-bodied taste and exceptional flavor.

Bottle shared by Buddy. Aroma of juicy pumpkin, molasses, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pours reddish with a nice orange cream head. Taste is pumpkin pie filling, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Nice clean and juicy mouthfeel throughout really set this apart. Wasn’t too sweet and it wasn’t bitter. Very easy drinking. Nice job.

Pours cloudy amber orange with small-medium beige head that quickly disappears. Nice nose of vanilla, pumpkin, gingerbread. Alcohol fizz adds zest to well-judged balance of pumpkin, spices, caramel. Definite sweetness cut by high carbonation. Almost soda-like, but dry finish restrains it to ale. This is definitely a beer for those who expect pumpkin pie flavors as opposed to squash or hops. The 7.5 percent ABV is borderline for a session, but the taste holds up nicely close to room temperature.

Bottle pour. The beer is a clear colper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has nice pumpkin pie and a pleasant sweetness to it. The spices seem to be well covered up. Bigger body and medium carbonation.

Bottled. Pours deep copper, murky, white head. Aroma is huge huge pumpkin pie. I mean, this is straight up pumpkin pie. It may be over the top, but it’s one of the best smelling pumpkin beers I’ve come across. The nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, it all pops. Flavor is surprisingly not overpowering. It’s like a brown ale, sorta German style-y (I can see the Munich malts), sweet as a pumpkin ale should be, but not disgustingly so. Good cinnamon and pumpkin flavor. Only the second beer I’ve had from Stevens Point brewing, but I’m so far quite pleased. Affordable and good fridge beer to keep.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Label info includes a nice description and its ABV which is 7.5%. No freshness date is noticeable. Appearance: From the aggressive pour I got a two finger tall soapy head which is light tan in color. It quickly fades leaving just a thin film covering with slightly thicker ring at the edge. Under this is a deep amber body with good clarity and nice visible carbonation. Smell: There is pie spice and sweet malt in the nose here with just a hint of herbal hops coming through as well. Taste/Palate: As the aroma foreshadows there is a sweet bready and almost pie crust like maltiness with a heavy hit of pumpkin pie spice. Cinnamon and nutmeg are the standouts. The pumpkin/squashy character is light but noticeable. The finish has plenty of lingering pie spice and a little herbal flavor with mild hop bitterness. I also notice a little of the 7.5% ABV here too. Notes: Overall I liked it and think it is a solid all-around Pumpkin Ale. With its ABV and heavy spicing you may not want too many in a row however.

Just cracked this open and the aroma is all ginger snaps. Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Big thanks to ughsmash. Lots of holiday spicing, warming, chocolate, toffee. There is any interesting creamy texture to the mouthful, pumpkin maybe? Very nice.
