Lots of cinamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, cloves, vanilla; some alcohol taste. This was the fullest bodied pumpkin beer I’ve ever had and definitely the best one I’ve had. Didn’t taste so artificial as others. Has a relatively high ABV. Good beer.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 31, 2009 Bottled. Poured medium coppery-brown with a one-finger, dense cap of beige head.. rising carbonation. The aroma picked up slightly sour caramel and nutty notes with cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg around.. not a whole lot of pumpkin meat to note, but not bad. The flavor found caramel and some pumpkin meat at the core.. nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves around.. spicy and warm on the back-end. Medium-bodied and crisp on the palate.. quite dry on the back-end.. felt good and tasted good.. wish I had more. esjaygee (1600), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon along with sweet and spicy malt. Taste of pumpkin pie with pumpkin, cinnamon and strong nutmeg and some noticeable alcohol to boot. Finishes up dry and very spicy. Decent. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Picked up a four pack at Discount Liquors in Waukesha, WI. Pours a dark copper colored brew with a thin beige head that has some nice lacing. Aroma of mostly nutmeg and clove with a hint of caramel. Taste is medium bodied, a touch spicy with flavors or caramel, nutmeg and white pepper. Finish is semi-sweet, spiced, with a lingering nutmeg and white pepper aftertaste. Very drinkable. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

A restrained nutmeg flavor, dash of cinnamon. Very biscuity. Solid malt. Enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. 13mikey (178), New Hope, Minnesota, USA

Flavor is the same with nutmeg and cinnamon coming through prominently. Smooth sweet finish. Great example of a pumpkin beer. mcjay (304), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 12, 2009 The biggest problem you see in most pumpkin ales is that there’s too much pumpkin and not enough ale. That’s exactly the problem here. Sure there’s a trace of caramel malt but the flavor and aroma are both dominated by pumpkin spice and nutmeg with a hint of cinnamon. Top it off with clear brownish amber color and a very thin tan head and you’ve got a pretty mediocre brew. Sorry Point but you can do better. On that note I’d still like to recommend the two precious Whole Hog brews in this lineup. arkurzynski (107), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Pours amber brown. Overwhelming pie spice aroma. Spice blend overpowers the pumpkin flavor a bit. Warmth on the way down.
