WOW! I was expecting the usual mild flavored boring pumpkin beer when I popped this open, but was I surprised! Aroma was very weak and I figured I was right. Pour was a nice light brown with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was stunning. Heavy pumpkin pie spices fill the mouth with cinnamon and nutmeg taking center stage. These spices have a nice sharp bite that plays well with the malty sweetness. Deliciously sweet and pumpkinny finish. Next year, once Pumking is sold out I will definitely seek this out!

Pours a deep amber color with off-white head. Pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and caramel malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some spice.

Bottle. Wow, this is terrific. Murky deep orange pour. Lots of pumpkin and nutmeg in the aroma and taste. Medium to fuller palate. Really tasty. Has to be the best beer I’ve had from Point.

[Bottle] Ruddy orange pour with a large amount of dense white head on top. Strong aroma of nutmeg, ginger and pumpkin pie spices. Taste is similar, with rich dark breads, pumpkin, dark brown sugar and allspice. Thicker palate than expected. Good balance. Hands down the best thing I have had from Point. Tasting notes from 12/2011.

Best pumpkin. Taste is just like Thanksgiving dessert. Sad it is over but time for all Spring seasonals.

Poured a deep orange color from the growler with aromas of pumpkin, spice, caramel and some light sugar. Flavors were mellowed sweet pumpkin and light spice. This was a pleasant surprise thanks Geiger for sharing.

Bottle. Nice surprise here. Big pumpkin aroma, but exceptionally well integrated into the beer. Drinks very easily, not too sweet, but also sweet enough to fit the pumpkin pie moniker. (from notes)
