COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It just wasnít enough to use a blend of 5 varieties of hops in our India Pale Ale. We needed more. We needed to go wholehog! So, we added a sixth hop and created a more pronounced hop nose and a massive hop flavor for our American twist to this legendary style.

Clear copper with a thin foamy white head. Great aroma of passion fruit and bitter grapefruit hoppiness with a sturdy bitter resin backing, mild earthy sweet caramel undertone. Flavor is bitter and resinous but also sweet where it needs to be with caramel covered grapefruit rind, lots of pine, a bit of dank earthy fresh hops, and more leafy bitterness on the finish. Great west-coast IPA from Americaís heartland. Just bracing enough to bite, but balanced enough to quaff generously.

Poured an orange-gold, with little in the way of head. Aroma somewhat muted, but includes hops and citrus notes. Flavor was very hop-bitter, with lots of tropical fruit (mango and such) and some citrus. Resinous and bitter finish. On tap at local (Stevens Point) restaurant/pub.

Tasted from a 12oz bottle. It poured a hazy amber color with a light, off white head. Hop aroma with a hint of caramel. Smooth with a bit of sweetness up front and a slightly bitter finish.

Had it out of a bottle. Poured a partly cloudy amber orange hue with a small head. Strong malt aroma with a heavy thick malt taste.

This is the best Point beer Iíve had by far. Poured with small to medium sized, cream colored head that didnít last too long and no lace. Color is an orange amber with plenty bubble trails. Aroma is is the best part and is very spicy. hop, and malt. Flavor doesnít have much of that spice, is highly bitter, then sweet, then carbonic tang. Body reflects the high bitterness and clashes with some of the other qualities. Finish is like flavor and body where the bitterness is overwhelming; lasting prominently to the end over a long time .

Sweet caramel malt nose. More malt sweetness, little to much malt and not enough hops for me. Finish was smooth

Bottle. Pours hazy butterscotch, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is caramel and pine. Flavor is the same, herbal, resinous, medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, oily.

12 ounce my wife bought at Good Foods. Amber like in color. Fruity esters. Malty overall. Too sweet and fruity for my taste - but I recognize some IPAs take on this approach.

I have to say that this is the type of beer that seems to suffer by association. The brewery on the whole is below average, but this beer is pretty good. Lots of hops but a nice malt sweetness in the finish, that leads it to be above-average in sweetness but stil quite enjoyable.
