A tremendous gift from theisti helping me get my 50th (or 51st) State. Poured a clear yellow color with no head or lacing (since it is a honey wine and all). Aroma a sweet wine with hints of honey and flowers. Flavor has a warming presence to it, with the elderflowers present in the aftertaste. Meads aren’t my thing, but at least I’m done with North Dakota. Thanks, Tim!

bottle-pours yellow/gold and still. Aroma is nutty. Taste is nutty/earthy, light/medium malt. Towards medium body.

Courtesy of Beerhunter: Poured a clear translucent pale golden colour with very soft floral and honey notes on the nose. Taste was off dry, pleasent and very comfortable. Overall, a nice mead, and glad to see North Dakota gone."

(750ml bottle, 12% version) Pours a translucent body with a pale yellow hue and descent legs. Aroma of the worst imaginable body odor mixed with cat urine. Flavor of offensive medicinals, chemicals, honey, and florals.

Bottle shared by PhillyBeer2112. Looks like white wine. Pours with no head. Light floral aroma. Flavor of sweet white wine and wildflowers. Light body with no carbonation. Interesting stuff.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a slightly yellow tinged water like clear body with a bit of legs. Aroma of weeds, dandelion, fennel, honey and must. Taste is fennel, garlic, dandelion, grape, rose, honey and anise. Syrupy, but some what thin mouthfeel for a 11.5% mead.

Bottle. Body-very still, almost water looking. Nose-musky, a little bit of NH3, chlorine, rose hips, body odor, not exactly enjoyable, white grapes.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Maybe we had a bad bottle, I’m not sure, here is my impression. Aroma of a cat litter box floral with urine. Flavor is strong, unfortunately it was of liquid body odor with some fruit rubbed in. The palate was the best part of this, medium body, no carbonation. Overall, not very good, I just didn’t like this.
