Bottled 237ml. It pours a yellow beer with an average head. A very oily nose with hints of fruits. The taste is oily, malty with hints of hay, bread and marzipan. Slightly fruity (dried apples). Buttery finish.

8 oz. can (thankfully small). Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a fizzy white head that quickly disappeared. Some light skunkiness in the aroma along with some very light malt. The flavor is also lightly skunky with some hay and some other unidentifiable off flavor in there as well. Notably bad beer.

Pale yellow color with a weak white head. Aroma and flavor of corn and skunk. Watery is hell.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2014 Well, at the brewery outside Valencia this is pretty decent for SA beer. In bottles, it is decent if unexciting, but cheap. Well, it used to be cheap when I first started going to Venezuela in 2005 .. something like 30 cents US per bottle. The brainless economic policy of the idiots in charge has resulted in big increases in price of this and everything else there, so it is no longer a deal. Booger eating maduro moron.

PilsnerPeter (3029) - Flushing, New York, USA - OCT 31, 2007
Bottle: Very pale, completely lucid golden with a white fading film for head. Aroma is mainly damp straw, and some sweeter notes of corn. Not as thin bodied as expected, but still watery and vacant. Nothing really offensive about it. Has a light body, fizzy without being overly carbonated with a grassy finish. Boring, standard Pale Lager.

Well it used to be a very popular beer in the Caribean. Best said that this would be considered a typical American pilsner, nothing special unless you are on a beer "world tour" and you are missing Venezuela.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours golden pale yellow with a lacing white head. Blend between dried notes and sight dark malty towards cardboardish aroma. Flavour is malty and dried hoppy. Very ordinary pilsner, even from the US of A. :(
