(Bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a rapidly dissipating moderate white head. Aroma of raw grain and caramel with some skunkiness. Flavor is relatively bearable for a South American lager with caramel covering up most of the skunk. As expected, a watery mouthfeel.

Had in a small town in Colombia, said Polar Tipo Pilsen, but I believe it is this beer since it said www.empresas-polar.com on the bottle. A normal appearance. Taste is much drier than most beers found in Colombia other than Club Colombia. Only 1000 pesos though, which is 39 cents.

Poured with some brownish-orange hues to the yellow, not the usual pale yellow look. The head was decent and the lacing pretty good. The aroma was skunky before the pour and after that herbal and vegetable-like. The flavor was a bitter form of the aroma, just not good. Initial sip was a little bit biscuit like, but after that all down hill. Bleh, Venezuela.

Pale yellow with a decent white head. Not much aroma. Sweet corn flavors with some sour vegetable notes leading to a dry, tart finish. Picked up a bottle in Aruban grocery store. Weak, watery, not good.

Can;t fariley rate this beer as I am biased. Drank it in Venezuela during college break. Takes me back to some good times. The beer? Oh yeah.... It was like any other macrobrew.

Canned. Pale yellow in colour. Vanishing white head. It has a malty and watery aroma. It has a vegetable flavour, kinda watery and sweet at the same time.

Can 355ml, alc. 5% (BB 03/2006)
What to say? Good things first: Can has nice photo of Deisy Arvelo. Then ... Pale yellow, creamy white head. Vegetables, sweet corn aroma. Light, sweet malty and papery flavor.

Canned (5%). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is maize and cooked vegetables. The same in flavour, with some weird sweetness. Watery. Crappiest of the three Venezuelans we "enjoyed" at the rating session.

Bottled. Sampled at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Pale golden. Aroma from boiled vegetables and a hint of selery. Small notes of honey in flavour, little sweetish and somewhat raw mouthfeel. The finish is even sweeter an not very pleasant.

Very standard lager. Looks ok and flavor is not bad, but far from interesting. Too mainstream. Carbonated. Just another light brew..
